❝ I’m here to ask a favor. ❞ it spoke slowly, consciously already avoiding the jumble words could become when it got ahead of itself. It was an...experiment of sorts. It didn't take much for the Green Lion to realize her species, the promise of much needed information about technology it didn't understand within its grasp. But, there was something more involved in the matter; whether its bond with Pidge was strong enough for /outsiders/ to see /this/ form or not.
⇴ – ;; When Tixxis had returned from a very long day of work to an intruder in her tiny apartment, her first reaction was naturally to reach for a weapon; there was no one that could be trusted on this planet, after all, and the Galra had certainly not made any friends. Even so, her clawed hand froze before she could manage to even touch her weapon of choice, and the confused female simply stared, brows knitted, at the creature before her. As surprising as she found it, this was entirely of her own will; her guest wasn’t forcing her hesitation, there was just something about them that felt different. Her hand dropped to her side uselessly, the idea of responding with violence leaving her mind altogether. The Galra instead focused on the inexplicable feeling this being was giving her; it seemed that even looking at it felt…intangible. Like it was both there and not at the same time, defying laws of perception Tixxis in a way thought to be impossible. Something about it felt surreal; at first, it was almost as if this creature shouldn’t be here, that something was wrong, but the Galra was quick to correct her own thinking. It was more like it was simply foreign in a way she couldn’t understand. When it spoke, Tixxis’s confusion only grew; what could she possibly have to offer a being like this, and how did it find her to begin with? Paranoia briefly invaded her thoughts as it did so frequently now; if it had found her, what else could? Was she in danger? Should she leave – could she? But while those questions remained unanswered, the creature’s presence offered her a strangely calming feeling of…safety, she decided, although it was beyond her to understand why. If nothing else, Tix felt she could dismiss those thoughts for the time being and focus on the task at hand without further distraction. Stepping forwards slowly, hesitation clear, the Galra simply nodded, expression softening marginally before she managed to reply. “What do you need?”
