If its not entirely obvious this ship is between Anakin and Baylan, Clone Wars era - Funnily enough I started shipping this as a joke, but then I thought about it more and was like “wait this actually kinda works” and it grew on me immensely and then I found some little things in canon that kinda?? back it in my mind and here were are

It’s kinda sorta vague ‘m sorry- perks of inventing a ship is all of the thoughts are only in my head and no one else knows about them
Anyhow you can’t just have Anakin, an insanely sun-coded character, and then give us Baylan Sköll, a character his same age named after a wolf that chases down the sun and expect me not to want to make them kiss a little-
They were clearly friends so what if we just like. Nudge it a lil further lmao. So here’s my favorite headcanons for this pairing!
Always reminding people and telling anyone who doesn’t know that the official Star Wars account put Across The Stars over Baylan saying “Everyone in the Order knew Anakin Skywalker, few would live to see what he became.” in one of the Ahsoka trailers. That is the love theme, why would it be there if Baylan wasn’t in love with Anakin, because Padmé was NOT present in that clip. No reason for it other than gay people. That shit was there on purpose. Anyways
𖤓 It starts off as homoerotic rivalry because all good romances do in Star Wars
𖤓 They’re both very disillusioned about the Jedi Order, so they bond over complaining about it together - Baylan holding Anakin in his arms like “they’ve lost sight of what the Order really means” and Anakin’s leaning on his shoulder like so true babe.
𖤓 Rewatched some Clone Wars and forgot how much of a brat Anakin is, and the name Sköll means “one who mocks” so they talk a lot of shit about everyone and everything.
𖤓 Lots and lots of holo-calls and touching into their bond in the Force - I justify not seeing Baylan in the Clone Wars series by saying he’s simply always stationed elsewhere on some other planet and they rarely ever see each other in person/Baylan’s rarely ever on Coruscant 😔
𖤓 Sparring IS a love language and it is theirs. Picture that one screenshot of Shin and Sabine’s first duel with Sabine bent over backwards but Baylan and Anakin. Bonus : Baylan does a hand-twirl with his lightsaber in episode six or seven of Ahsoka that looks like Anakin’s signature move, so have my delusional hc that Anakin taught it to him!
