this is an official activity warning for all players.
players had been notified of the admins hiatus prior to my disappearance with a note to remain active as i may not be able to interact, but i would be watching. the lack of activity between players was appalling and aside from one other who announced their brief hiatus, every player has a strike against them.
this does include those who have been ‘active’ by bubbling amongst themselves.
for all players who wish to remain in the game, this post must be liked no later than thursday june 8th at 6pm CST. anyone who does not will be removed without chance of re-admittance.
every week, we’ll post a new challenge relating to a specific character, much like the current one we have for STELLA. however, to help players be as involved in the game as possible, we want the majority rule to see which character is next!
you can only vote once, but if there are followers who are simply watching the game, they too are invited to vote for whom they’d like to see.
the winning announcement will be posted on wednesday as the new challenge!
This begins a series of challenges based on the characters in the group. While Stella is a non-playable character, her basic personality is being cultivated throughout the group, and her presence is known even without a player behind her.
For this challenge: we invite you to create some sort of content revolving around your characters relationship to and with Stella before her absence.
Written creations are preferred.
Self para/journal entries with memories revolving around Stella are a great way to connect deeper to your character and their current emotions with Stella now gone, but you don’t have to stay limited to just that.
Creative content is also welcome! Mix tapes, moodboards, aesthetics, etc. are all encouraged to help strengthen your headcanons regarding your character and Stella.
There is no specific ‘end date’, but the next character challenge will be released sometime next week. As such, we’d like to see any participating players responses by Wednesday, May 24th.

with the search for stella back on high alert, the grady’s sudden disappearance is almost completely unnoticed. a moving truck, taking their furniture out, the cars packed full and dean and marie barely even given a chance to say goodbye to their home for the past eight years.
no one’s sure why they’re leaving the former daniels’ home, but whispers are starting to make their rounds. after nearly failing in california, the daniels’ and their daughter are coming back home, kicking the tenets who’ve rented their home for almost a decade out to take over their former house.
no one knows for sure, but with the focus of the town on stella ascott and her current disappearance, it’s the perfect time for everyone else to make bold moves. no one’s paying enough attention to anyone else to bother upsetting the status quo, which means everyone is.
we’re only a month into summer, and already things have become crazier than they’ve ever been before.

under the cut are some of the important plots developed between current players and former players who’ve since left, meant to be a helpful jumping point for new players taking over characters.
CHARLIE NORTH.
Brinley Roberts and Charlie North have been ‘friends with benefits’ for almost two years, since they lost their virginity together freshman year of high school. Though they sleep together frequently, they insist it’s nothing more than casual and keep their relationship going, even while sleeping with other people as well.
Claudia Marshall and Charlie North recently played detective together, putting together enough clues to discover Phoenix Addams and Stella Ascott have disappeared together for a weekend while everyone else has found out about the murder down in Missouri. Together, they keep the secret from parents, cops and even their other friends.
Braxton Roberts and Charlie North recently shared a kiss on a night out on the town with the rest of their friends, and while they haven’t discussed it in depth, both are potentially interested in pursuing it further beyond ‘just a kiss’.

Charlie’s had a difficult family life; a former hockey star, he broke his arm at 13 when his father pushed him too hard on the rink. Though no one acknowledges it, everyone suspects that Mr. North isn’t always the nice guy he appears at block parties, especially when his son messes up.
Charlie and Dean Grady have spent years with ‘unrequited’ crushes on one another, though nothing ever really happened. Recently, at a block party, the two got into an altercation that resulted in Charlie’s other arm being broken by Dean, causing the latter to disappear to his home for days prior to his family leaving Ashbourne for good.
PHOENIX ADDAMS.
Brinley Roberts and Phoenix Addams recently went on a double date with two former Ashbourne High graduates. At the end of the night, the two ended up gossiping and sleeping over at the Addams’ home, resulting in a night of making out and laughing.

Phoenix and Stella’s friendship has often blurred the lines of ‘just friends’ and while nothing ever occurred between the two of them, Phoenix loved her more than anyone else. Most of their friends lived in ignorance, and since Stella’s disappearance, Phoenix has been even more reclusive than ever, unsure of her own ground without Stella on her side.
due to the loss of several players, an updated list of current plots will be posted later today for potential new applicants to be aware of what’s happened in the past month.
the role of dean grady is officially closed; a plot drop revolving the character will be released this week, and instead we will be opening a new character who’s biography should be posted today.
in an attempt to find a new phoenix addams, the choice of faceclaim is officially up to player once again.

the roles are now reopened. oliver’s faceclaim has been reopened as well, but phoenix addams will remain hailee steinfeld, unless requested otherwise by potential applicants.
five weeks gone, and the police are running into nothing but dead ends. the trail runs cold at every turn, and even with mr. ascott’s persistent help (hindrance?) nothing’s been truly uncovered.
with the summer officially beginning and the first official oak ave block party only two days away, everyone knows:
this year just won’t be the same.
the ascott’s have taken to hiding in the shadows, when they’re even around. mrs. ascott has taken camille away, off to her parents house an hour away. but camille came back, and camille finally talked.
“she went with him,” were the exact words she managed to choke out between sobs, guilt written over her features. “we were fighting, and he tried to stop us, and after he walked away, she ran after him. got in his car. that was the last i saw of her.”
in the end, this changes nothing in the investigation. stella is still a minor, mr. grayson still labeled a kidnapper. even camille gets off free, released after she makes her statement, and the oak ave gang can see her standing in stella’s window when they pass, watching them all with dark eyes.
what other secrets can she hold? how long until the dam bursts again?
word has spread quickly, neighbor to neighbor until it’s taking the lead place on the local news, headlines and pictures of stella and camille from birth til this years prom. no one asks where they came from; the reporters feeding on the story are vultures, picking out what they can whenever news escapes.
there’s talk of cancelling the memorial day block party, but everyone knows it’s just that: talk. but with only seven of the eight kids running around and sneaking cigarettes behind bushes, how will anything feel remotely sane?

camille and mr. ascott will make brief appearances at the party, however, mrs. ascott has stayed behind in indiana with her family due to ‘stress’.
