i know u called urseslf dumb for making skreetch thin at first but the new image only means that he's gained weight since his creation, and as someone who rarely gets to see characters DO THAT instead of the opposite (chubs to thin) i want to tell you that he now means more to me than 20+ years of mainstream characters, i stan a legend
Ahhh thanks!! ;__; I didn’t see it that way till a couple people including you pointed it out, so yeah I can definitely see the value in that. We did indeed have it so he gained weight over the course of the campaign, as opposed to like, retconning it, so I’m glad that decision makes people happy!
We stan dad bod skreach
🙌🙌🙌
Hot take: Skreeach uses southern slang like y'all'dve, y'aint, and calls Alagon "the honeysuckle to his honeybee".
🌺 Tell me a preconeption/headcanon you have for one of my characters… And I’ll rate how accurate it is on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being way off and 10 being basically canon!
He actually uses a surprising lack of southern slang in canon, but I’m still gonna give this like a 3 or 4 since it’s definitely not wild to assume he’d pick up such tendencies.
....i just learned that skreeach is an npc, I'm kinda heartbroken but i guess it makes sense
???! Why’s that a bad thing, though? Skreeach is still a super important character! He’s just played by the DM, is all, but he’s important enough that he has at least some lines every game and is involved heavily with the party’s main goals. Other important NPC’s are Dryle, Steele, Grant, Aphonis, Zathune, a lot of characters that may not be player characters but are still super important and get plenty of lines!
Just wondering but how do you draw dragonborn so we’ll?? Like I can’t draw their faces??
I’m not sure, I guess years of drawing furries haha. I usually start with a circle like most head shapes then draw another kinda boxier shape for the snout. Though admittedly Skreeach is probably easier cause his face is more on the cartoony side of things to add to his ridiculous character.
Anyway here’s a little “tutorial”, I use that word loosely because I really don’t have a lot of steps to my art, I basically go from super rough geometric sketch to, well, sketch.
ok start with a circle, i add lines for just the general direction it’ll be facing but this doesn’t always stick.
For dragonborn, I add a really blocky snout. Usually short, too.
I also add a really thick neck, like almost as thick as the head, and it starts up a bit higher on the base of the head cause I wanna give em that slightly hunched/bestial look. Anyway this is where I go all How To Draw Art Book mode:
Aaand this is pretty much where I make The Jump(tm). From here I fill in Skreeach’s defining features, which are the big protruding chin, a slightly more concave snout, etc, then just add details.
It isn’t perfect and like I’m 100% self taught so I don’t really have any of those “professional” tips for ya and probably didn’t give you any new insight but hopefully it helps in some way?
I guess one tip I do have is I like to base dragonborn and similar races off of other animals too. So Skreeach’s heavily inspired by a bull or cape buffalo which aided in his design. So like, since dragonborn don’t exist as reference, you can reference animals that do exist to help you in constructing face shape if you need it. But, practice drawing animals at all should help you in drawing races like dragonborn so i recommend it.
🌺 Screeach is very very good at campfire cooking, more specifically, he is surprisingly good at taking any meat and rotisserie style cook it over the campfire to the point where it contains all of its juices and the meat almost melts and falls apart in your mouth. Everytime somebody compliments him and asks him how he does it he's just like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, Family secret, but on the inside he's internally swearing because he has no clue if the next barbeque will be nearly as good as this one

8, I’d say that sounds pretty accurate. I think I recall Skreeach showing a little cooking prowess here and there around the campfire but he isn’t usually the cook. Makes sense that he’d have one thing he’s SUPER GOOD AT cooking for no reason but sucks at pretty much everything else, thats how people who aren’t great cooks tend to be I’ve noticed lol
Is it fair to say that Skreeach has the biggest sweet tooth of the group?

9! Toss up between him and Rin.
