Today was one of those days where people kept asking me for stuff. I had a photo shoot this morning for a med school newsletter on my research award. I had to give a standardized patient the terrible news that their baby has anencephaly. This was a practice session so we're not caught off guard too much in third year. It was fake but it felt real. I asked someone to handle something like three times and they finally got back to me. There was a group simulation as if we were seeing someone with a TBI. Then I was at a 2 hour workshop on suturing and splinting. I was trying to study at some point and people kept trying to talk to me while I'm busy. My research project had a snag in which we thought that another researcher would be cool with us adapting a survey that he made as long as we cite him but he is still thinking about it. My childhood best friend is in town this week and I don't have time to see her because of my schedule and I have a test on Monday. It's days like these where I start thinking about doing radiology so people would leave me alone for more than 10 minutes.
