Recording Fanfic

Just made a stab at recording one of my shorter fanfics ‘Blast Ended’ for audio - flubbed it slightly, but it sounds really good! (I write as teacup_of_doom on Ao3.)

My first GIFs ever! I decided to do a series of magical creatures from Harry Potter, specifically those that get a bad rap. 

Thestrals, while feared for their association with death, are highly intelligent. Giants, while certainly vicious, do not deserve to be quarantined to the mountains of France. And I guess skrewts don’t have many redeeming qualities, aside from maybe being good guard dogs, but it isn’t really their fault that they’re so horrible.

2013-2014 Rosters Announced!

Bay Area Quidditch is excited to announce that for the 2013-2014 season, we will have two official teams! The first is the competitive team, which will retain the Silicon Valley Skrewts name, and the second is the casual team, whose name is yet to be decided.

When I heard the Harry Potter game, Quidditch, was real I almost died.  I love Harry Potter!  I met up with the Silicon Valley Skrewts and photographed the magic they unleash on their broomsticks.
