hi everyone! My boyfriend already posted this on Reddit so if you’re super active in bone id you may have seen it, but does anyone have any idea what this might belong to? I found in on the Tybee island beach in Georgia.

Anyone wanna solve a final riddle for me? I got this skull in a bucket of random, mostly shittily bleached bones for free a couple years ago. I'm about 98% sure this guy is just a dog, but he does look awfully wolfy with that nose bridge slope in between a dog and yote, so if someone could confirm if he is or isn't that would be awesome. I've got him here compared to a confirmed (large eastern male) coyote and shepherd-type dog, cleaned by myself.

Hey so uh, what the FUCK is this. I think it’s a lower jaw/mandible of some mammal. It’s in bad condition but there are 3 teeth (2 good, one bad condition) that are with it. There’s no nose hole(s) and the split is really far back compared to other mammals. If anyone could maybe help and try to identify it, it’d be greatly appreciated. It was found in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
