That moment,

That moment when I feel-

A heart wrenching equivalent,

Equivalent to shattered bone

That moment,

That moment when I feel-

A soul sinking equivalent,

Equivalent to drowning lungs

When my mind is weak,

And body is frail

My pounding heart

Shakes my bones-

My heart beats my skull from unwelcome thoughts

Thoughts that overwhelm-

Overwhelm forgotten wants,

I’ve sworn to overcome

I stare in no direction-

There is no where for me to be

I’ll sit quietly in hopes of interruption-

When my mind is weak,

And body is frail
