Skwistok headcanons and their relationships with physical touch!! Posted again cause my elaboration got buried lmao 🫶

Touch: Toki Wartooth

-He grew up so touch starved it’s not even funny. As an adult, he LOVES physical touch and being able to hold things and people close just heals something inside him on a fundamental level. ❤️‍🩹

-The only places he can’t STAND being touched are his feet because of his nerve damage. A childhood spent laboring in the harsh cold and later diabetes makes even walking a painful ordeal sometimes. I know DAMN well this man is picky about his shoes too

-He isn’t a huge fan of his belly being touched because he’s ticklish there. Skwisgaar takes advantage of this when Toki’s been too pouty or sulky just because Skwis misses hearing him laugh 😭😭😭

-Toki wasn’t a huge fan of his neck being touched either because it’s also ticklish, but it’s mostly just too nerve wracking for him, especially since Doomstar Requiem. Anything reminds him of the collar :C

-Toki loves being scratched on the back and smooched on the forehead and you can’t change my mind!!!! Handholding is also up there, same with long hugs.

Touch: Skwisgaar Skwigelf

-Skwisgaar also grew up touch starved and he tries to make up for it as an adult by uhhh doing the deed a ton. He’s very comfortable with lustful touch but he struggles hard with loving touch. Dude is used to feeling with his body, not his heart, and anything that makes it flutter really scares him. ⚰️

-He feels all kinds of confused around Toki, and he hates that he feels deep love for him that extends far beyond the shallow lust he’s used to.

-Despite the god complex, Skwis lowkey worries deep down he isn’t good enough for his rhythm guitarist and that any day now Toki will discover this and abandon him. 🦐

-Around others, touch is very off limits, at least at the beginning of their relationship. Skwisgaar has a lot of internalized homophobia and honestly so does Toki. Skwisgaar’s originates from his mother and toxic masculinity and Toki’s originates from religion. ✝️

-In private though, Skwisgaar is A-okay and often initiates too! Over time he learns to love being held and it makes him feel so safe and adored! Discovering that Toki loves him for him and not just what he can do on guitar really opens up Skwisgaar’s eyes and he sees himself and his bandmate in a new light. :]

-Skwisgaar EVENTUALLY leans into the romance and emotional intimacy after discovering how much *better* him and Toki become on guitar!! Their sound is stronger, brutaler, and more unified than ever! 🎸

Nathan even gets on board because anything that’s good for the band is good enough for him lmao.
