I think these images contain a lot more direct lore than the current sky versions

Since reblogs don't show up in the tag itself, and the number of Sky players has increased, I'd like to share a link to a guide to the home glitch, a technique that can be used to prevent the krill/dark dragons from knocking your winged light out of you, thus sparing you the hassle of having to search for the ones you've lost

Mario Star in Sky🌟

Okay, so this needs some explanation

If you look at the current game 3D mesh files, you can see four objects named with ‘Secret’ within the game files that where never actually used in live sky

And one of those objects is called ‘SecretStar_01’

But if you look at the files in a 3D format…

It just looks flat

However, the other two objects(SecretPedestal_01 and _02) have the full models ready

(SecretPedestal_02 looks the same except for the little nubs at the top removed)

Based on this, I looked at the Light Awaits files as well to compare the two and found these objects also named with ‘Secret’ in it

And if you open the ‘SecretObject_01’

(I guess this was changed to be named SecretStar_01 later?)

You get these!

I speculate that this was going to be in the game as an easter egg but got removed before moving to live

(For obvious reasons! Copyright sue hammers from Nintendo are scary)

The other files that didn’t make it to live are these

(SeacretDoor_01 and SecretDoorGrate_01)

A gate to the easter egg perhaps?

It would have been cool to actually see this in the game!
