Summary: Ichigo knows he's the odd one out. That's why he's more resigned than surprised when he enters his teenage years without getting his soulmark. So when the mark finally appears, it unleashes a turmoil of emotions, hopes and despair. Because he had begun to think about someone, someone who might as well not be his soulmate and Ichigo begins to think if that doesn't hurt even more. He might have led a rebellion and uncovered a coup, but he was still just a fifteen year old human teenager with all the confusing baggage it entailed. 

My thoughts: This made me C R Y okay. Tears streamed down my face and everything. I can’t speak for characterization (because I’ve never actually watched Bleach) but I liked it. Lots of emphasis on the fact that Ichigo is a teenager. Like he’s fifteen. I’m eh about Kisuke/Ichigo, but I liked the Soulmark idea.

Why Cage of the Dog isn't here? Because it'll go out as soon as I'm done with it, y'all already wait long enough.

Why are there less options than last time? Since I'm not writing fic in November, I haven't edited anything so I'm going with fully finished fics this time.
