while where they sit is not the quietest , the vantage point is promising. a clear view of everyone bustling about. a heavy elbow sits on the table , chin resting against the back of his hand. with a quick time check ( fifteen after the agreed meetup ) , gladiolus peers to his companion. “ nothing is gonna happen to ‘em , iggs. ” voice is gruff in his answers, “ prompto’s pretty quick on his feet and noct can hold his own ---- they’ll be fine. ” just a few minutes more , he thinks. not like there seemed a lot of trouble to be had in their little adventure , but with an unfamiliar place coupled with the fact the empire seemed to be constantly biting their asses some precautions were necessary.

however with those extra minutes down , worry hangs like worn string pulled taunt , seconds from snapping. though he isn’t the ‘glue’ to hold their merry little group together , there is belief in that he is a pillar --- something solid and grounding. some reassurance in his steadfast stubbornness , he hopes. while like-minded in where goals are set even if means to achieve differs ; bulldozing in a sort of ways. crossing one foot in front of the other as amber hues search carefully for any bob of a blonde head or the accompanying raven. through nose leaves heavy sigh , frustrations lacing into brows and tugging at lips.

he sits up straight , bringing arm down and tapping finger a few times against the table. gladiolus rolls a shoulder , preparing to stand. “ i’m going to have a look around the market , see if there’s anything interesting. ” or familiar. “ stay here in case those idiots come back if i don’t find and drag their asses back first myself. ”
