   the one thing that makes me really sad about the rp community is how often people apologise for themselves when they’ve done nothing wrong. ‘i’m sorry for all my ooc.’ ‘i’m sorry for all my smut.’ ‘i’m sorry for taking so long to answer.’   i’ve been known to do it myself bc it’s just-- ingrained behaviour to us??? like these are bad things to do. because we’ve probably all had a shitty experience where someone’s made us feel bad for the way we conduct our blog.   tbh if i could change one thing, it’d be that. let people run their blogs however they heckin’ want to, without worrying about it. you shouldn’t have to apologise for being you.

        The ocean stretched out before her, calm and impossibly blue against the bathing light of the sun. Chibiusa had been to a number of beaches in her lifetime, but this one seemed especially pretty. From what she could gather of her surroundings, her travels across worlds had led her to an island. The tall, thin palm trees and balmy, Summer breeze were a nice reprieve from the chilly vestiges of early Spring still permeating her home of Crystal Tokyo. 

        At the shoreline, her boots sank into the damp sand as water rushed around her ankles and then receded. She could have stood like that forever, just watching the waves crest in the distance, allowing the scent of saltwater to temper her nerves; but she had a mission. Chibiusa drew away from the water, casting one last glance over her shoulder before venturing further onto the island. There had to be somebody around here who could help.

       The Heartless had appeared, sudden and without warning, raining down on Crystal Tokyo like black ants on a picnic. For all their efforts in keeping them at bay, Chibiusa and her fellow Senshi were unable to fully vanquish them; their magic rendered useless. For each Heartless they struck down, four more sprung up in its place. The situation was getting out of hand. They needed help. They needed the KEYBLADE WIELDER.

        Belatedly, Chibiusa discovers the island is one of several. At least this one is populated. A town teeming with life and noise can be seen just beyond the docks and Chibiusa follows the sounds. Surely, someone had to know where she could find the one capable of defeating the Heartless. It’s only as she gets further into town that she realises, maybe, she should de-transform. The bright colours of her fuku seem odd and out of place among the residents of this town and she garners more than a few strange looks from passers-by. 

        It proves to be good that she didn’t de-transform because only a handful of minutes later, it happens again.  Heartless appear; morphing out of walls and windows and streets. Chibiusa is immediately alert and sinking into a fighting stance as the pedestrians around her scramble to find cover and safety. 

                      ❝You guys just don’t know when to quit, do you?❞

        She has no idea how she’s going to get rid of them, but---- she’s got to try.

He’d been squinting at a book he’d found in Yen Sid’s study (mostly squinting at how much trouble Mickey had gotten in in his youth which was equal parts surprising and not) when he heard those familiar footsteps and felt that familiar heartbeat.
