ngl I struggled with this one but finally landed on Ezra being Maul's apprentice post-malachor and Luke being Vader's apprentice. Luke leans more into the inquisitor role rather than Sith due to the whole rule of two (Vader and Palps being the two).

🌌🌉 DAY II: No Order 66 AU
In the regular timeline, their paths never crossed. Rather, they are parallel lines.
Sun and Moon, when the sun rises, the moon sets and vice-versa. So, in this Au, they actually met young.

Now, some of my own headcanons, hahaha
They both are padawans in the order.
Luke is definitely a Nepo baby. Ezra disliked Luke a lot for a long time bc of that, but he loved Leia.
They have a good friendship, a little closer than the order likes. (Windu)
When Ezra still disliked Luke. Luke wanted so hard to be his friend. "Why is his problem with me, Leia?!"
Their Missions together could be summarized like: Luke: "Ezra no!" Ezra: "Ezra yes!"
Anakin tries too hard to help them to cover (just makes all more suspicious) even if they keep saying they are just friends.
Luke try to hard to be the best padawan to fullfil people's expectations and Leia is super smart , smooth talking and always in control. On the other hand Ezra is kinda mischievous and likes lie for fun, like fake names and stuff. They but do a very interesing group of padawans.
Mace Windu: Where were you the last 3 days?!
Luke & Ezra (Disheveled and filthy): Eh...
Mace Windu: You know? Actually, I don't want to know. Go ahead, Caleb lost his mind, and has called all hospitals and prisons in this sector. Now, He's posting your photo in the holonet.
Luke: Hmm.. and my dad?
Mace Windu: According to Anakin, you are in the middle of surgery. The 3rd in a row.

Day 2–Dark Side AU
Okayyyy maybe I had too much fun with this one
My idea was for Ezra to be a rebel spy, and Luke to be training under Vader. When he refuses to hurt innocent people and such, Ezra is like “oh damn they’re totally gonna kill this guy.” Cue a rescue mission where Ezra may or may not have crashed the ship
After the first day, I wanted something pretty simple and easy to draw, so this one isn’t too experimental or anything
