Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!
Today was Thanksgiving! Where the mammals of Zootopia would spend the holiday with family and friends. Some would go and watch the parade they throw every year. Some would want to watch the football game for their favorite teams. But mostly, it was to have friends and family over for a big meal. That was pretty much what was going on around Nick Wilde’s mother's house. He had his wife Judy Hopps and their four sweet as angel kits with him as they started to get some food from the kitchen. Of course, they were not alone. They brought over their Kit Kat’s babysitters, the rabbit Michael and the red panda Katrice. They were glad to come along with the WildeHopps family. Also in the household was Judy’s cousin Jack Savage, his wife Skye, and their meerkat daughter Portia Savage. And even more mammals had showed up. Mainly Michael and Katrice’s friends who wanted to spend some Thanksgiving time with their buddies. They couldn’t say no to them, so it was all fine and dandy for Mrs. Wilde. She made plenty for everyone. Michael and Katrice were next to Andre and Amare, with the former kit getting as much food as possible on his plate as the rabbit is getting much of the bread rolls. Michael did love bread. “Hey now, share some for the rest of the mammals ok?” Katrice was being a kind but firm to the young kit and older mammal as the two started to stop grabbing much food. “Sorry Katrice.” Andre and Michael said at the same time with the kit having to take his plate and go, being satisfied with his plate of food. Michael looks over to his red panda as he grabs a spoonful of mashed potatoes for his turkey. “So you sure that mixing my turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy will make it less dry?” “Honey, I promise you that it will work. I do it all the time at my family's Thanksgiving.” The red panda assured the rabbit since they always give out good helpful tips and tricks for each other. The brown furred rabbit gave her a kiss on the cheek as a thank you. “You are the best my adorable pumpkin spice raccoon.” Michael cooed softly from her being so pleasant and helpful. The two were hearing someone ‘awwing’ by their side. It was their friend Gerry. Gerry is an American Jackrabbit-European Hare mix bunny. Having a light brown on his fur with light brown eyes with him wearing an orange plaid shirt and gray shorts. “Oh hey Gerry! Glad you could make it.” Michael says Gerry begins to fill his plate with the food Mrs. Wilde had made. “Glad to be here man!” The rabbit was getting chicken and turkey with some corn and mac n cheese. The other mammals were by the long table. Chairs having to have been borrowed so they could sit down and eat with the others. Portia was with Aubrey and Alicia as they were listening to Shadow talking about a funny story with Karen as she was enjoying a turkey leg. As Michael, Katrice, and Gerry were able to get their plates full, Jake the tabby cat and Diana the skunk come over with drinks in their paws. The two of them smiled and raised their cups to them. “Cheers to the mammals that invited us to this awesome place!” Diana shouted with Jake following along. “HOORAY!” The tabby cat shouted as the brown rabbit chuckled. “Glad you two are having fun.” Katrice said as they started to walk down for a place to sit. The two mammals sat down with Fever and Trish, who were talking about their favorite videos on the internet. Amare was sitting next to the other rabbit that is gray with brown ears. “Wait, did you guys say something about those Try Not To Laugh videos?” The smore son asked. “Oh yeah!” The raccoon that had blue fur where the black fur would be at. “Me and Fever were talking about that. You watch them?” Trish said with her answer being met by another mammal. The small fox kit Alicia said with a mouth full of food. “Yeah we do!” She was stopped by her sister Aubrey. “We all watch them with dad or mom. They seem to love it more than we do.” Aubrey looked over to Nick and Judy who were just talking to Jack and Skye as the fox and rabbit parents started to nervous chuckle since they were grown adults yet they loved those childish like videos. “Well I blame the videos for being too good!” Nick tried to say protest but yet it was destroyed when his mother comes and pats her sons back. “Yes dear. I am sure it is.” “Mooooooom.” Him and his mother acting silly was enough to have the Kit Kats and Portia giggle at their antics. Gerry comes over and sitting next to Helena as the pig with glasses and a stylish look on her hair looked over to him. “So how is things for you Gerry?” Hel asked as she eats her broccoli as the rabbit was cutting up his bread roll to put some butter on it. “Oh I am fine! Thanks Hel. How was the trip for that monster festival?” Gerry asked with Hel, Shadow, and Karen having to have been there with all of them looking excited. “It was awesome!” The three of them shouted as they each pulled out a cute plushie of their favorite monsters from out of nowhere. “...Where...where did they-” Jake was wanting to ask but Diana stops him. “Life is crazy. So I say, accept it.” She delicately eats the corn on her plate as Jake just starts to question life in his head as he pokes his food. The last mammal to join was Mrs. Wilde, who has herself a plate of food as well with a drink of sweet tea as everyone of the mammals thanked her for the meal. She was honored and happy to have them all enjoy their food. For her grandchildren, for her son and daughter-in-law, and for these kind strangers that clearly were a blast to hang around. “We should do this on Christmas.” Karen sipped from her soda after saying that. “Yeah. It would be a fun day to spend with my favorite otter.” Shadow said as he nuzzled softly on her as the otter blushed with Mrs. Wilde thinking. “I think it would be wonderful.” Nick’s mom truly was a saint and an outstanding fox. He was lucky to have her as his mom. The rest of the mammals continue to eat and talk while sharing laughs and joy to each other as they were having a heck of a good time for this day. All the while Nick and Judy couldn’t wait to visit Judy’s family tomorrow. Since that would mean they would be stocked for weeks since they do Thanksgiving the day after the holiday since they are a big family. It would mean that they wouldn’t have to go out grocery shopping for weeks. Unless Andre eats most of it, then that would be a problem.
