The days of trying to use the official posters as checklists are OVER, I have compiled all Skylanders, Traps, Creation Crystals and items (including variants/chase!) into TEN big ol' lists, hope some of you find it useful. :]

Wishlist for a Skylanders Collection
Make a Skylanders Veterans Pack for people who kept their Skylanders so they can early unlock their favorite Skylanders and items
Recreate the Living Room level from Spyro’s Kingdom as the Menu, this way we can recreate the Toys to Life experience
In general, fix any game breaking glitches for the 6 games
Make it so all Skylanders can switch upgrade paths and not just reposed ones
Since figure are no longer a thing, every Core Skylander should get a Wow Pow for each game (at least till Trap Team)
Remove the nerfs of older Skylanders in the recent games
Put the console exclusive SSA hats in all versions
Make the Trap Team elemental gates apply to all Skylanders and not just Trap Masters
Replace the Imaginators stock music with actual new music
Finally officially make it so you can reset your Imaginator
Add Pumpkin Eye Brawl as an actual Variant
Add Heartbreaker Buckshot

My Skylanders Collection:
So, I very rarely talk about Skylanders, but it is one of my favorite franchises of all time, and I am a super Skylanders fan. I finally got around to setting out all of my Skylanders merch and taking the full photo!
172 Skylanders. 223 different 'figures' if you're counting Traps, Vehicles, Magic Items and Level Packs. There are also 8 portals, all six games, a giant Tree Rex plushie and the Trap Team Handbook.

If a Skylanders collection does happen, what would be the best way to unlock characters?
Soul Gems = Instant unlock
Heroic Challenges, Bonus Missions, Kaos Doom Challenges, etc

Edit: I hope the Soul Gem one isn't the case because then that means Double Trouble, Flashwing, Punk Shock, Doom Stone and Ka-Boom don't get unlocked until you beat the game
As someone who owned Double Trouble, he is not worth it as a last unlock
