so question uhm ive been wondering but how big is a skylander giant compared to beuo? Did i spell that right? Pretty sure i did but sorry if i didn't.😅

God, this is a hot minute from my Skylanders rewrite AU but I am more than willing to pull out the records from my archives-

SO! The giant's size depends on how old they are, for giant's never stop growing until they die. This is actually because their bodies become the very floating islands everyone lives on. This is a built in biological fail safe due to the ever continuous consumption of the islands from Darkness and the volatile nature magic often exhibits. Giants are the literal stepping stones of all life.

The biggest/oldest living giant's as of now is the King of Trees. You may recognize him by other names but as of now, thats what many call him

He has an entire town on his back

The tiny specks on the ground there is Beauo and Rattke Shake

But often, some remains are mistaken for giant remains as magic has odd effects on different beings. Humans for example are immune to magic of all kinds but the moment they die, magic can affect their bodies. Sometimes it turns the human body into rocks and moss... or it makes the remains grow into the size of a vast canyon

So all in all, it depends on how old the giant is and that the islands everyone walks on was once a giant.

“Many years ago, when it felt like there was no hope against the darkness, the ancients made the core of light.. Not only lighting up hopes in skylands, but banishing the darkness and sending it to another dimension with nothing but a void to float in for eternity, where it would never cause harm to the skylands again. But, just because the darkness itself was gone, doesn’t mean that evil itself had disappeared for good. Villains started getting more cocky, more confident, more evil after the darkness was banished, testing to see how long they can do wrong until success or failure-“

“Eon, when do the Skylanders come in?” Interrupted a purple and orange dragon, about the age of eight. “I wanna hear how they kick the villains butt!”

“Patience, Spyro, we’re getting there.” Eon, the old man standing beside spyros bed responded as the young dragon groaned in some annoyance.

“The worst of these evil doers was Kaos, a dark portal master who had tried to free the darkness before.. but failed very miserably. However, it didn’t mean he wasn’t doing his best to conquer Skylands, so I trained heroes, made them ready for about anything, and therefore, I made them..”

“The Skylanders!” Spyro exclaimed, rather excitingly.

Eon chuckled, amused with the young dragon’s energy. “Yes Spyro, the Skylanders.” He noded softly.

“.. and once they defeated Kaos, I banished him to the outlands, where he would be for the rest of his life. However, that doesn’t mean there wasn’t still evil to fight in skylands, but there were only so many Skylanders to protect everyone. And that's when we built.. the skylander academy. Made to train young and old heroes to reach their full potential, and protect skylands from what evil it may face.“

“..And that, young Spyro, is what you will be someday. One of the greatest heroes in skylands.“

“Awesome. Can you tell me another story? Please?“ Spyro smiled as he begged eon for another tale

“Not now spyro, it's time for bed.“ Eon patted the dragons head, making the young one somewhat disappointed.

“Aww, but I don't wanna go to bed. Can I please stay up more?“ Spyro pleaded.

“Spyro, a Skylander needs a lot of rest as they get older. Besides, I'm a bit tired myself.“ Eon chuckled once more and turned off the light as the young dragon curled up in bed. “Good Night, Spyro. Sleep well.“ Eon said as he walked out of the dragons room.

“Good Night, Master Eon.“ Spyro yawned, closing his eyes and softly smiling.

The lore rewrite isn't gonna include ALL canon lore, but it's to shape a form of continuity and my interpretation of skylanders.

If there are repeated questions I'll just pick the first one I see and answer.

I don't do requests, the poles will determine the next character to be drawn.

Skylanders Academy: The N. Sane Rewrite

So after a long time of debating whether or not I should even write this, I've finally posted the (hopefully) first chapter of Skylanders Academy: Going N. Sane

What is Skylanders Academy: Going N. Sane?

In this rewrite of both The Skylands is Falling and Crash Landing. After a failed attempt to stop his arch nemesis Dr. Neo Cortex, Crash Bandicoot is sent far away from his home The Wampa Islands, and his sister Coco. Crash and his mentor Aku Aku now must team up with an unlikely team of Skylanders to help him get back home and save not just his sister, but all of Skylands

Why rewrite The Skylands Are Falling and Crash Landing?

I'm a huge Skylanders fan, but I always felt like Skylanders Academy could've been a little better with how it was written and how it handled the lore and characters. Originally I was gonna do a complete rewrite of the show called Skylanders Academy: Resummoned on my old account. While I was able to rewrite the entire first episode, I didn't realize just how much work was needed to rewrite an entire show, I also tend to get burned out from writing easily. That and unfortunately I lost access to my old account. Eventually decided to start small and focus on specific episodes that I felt like could've been handled better, and that landed on the episodes that stared Crash

To put it simply, I wasn't the biggest fan of how they handled Crash in the show. While I did like the idea of Crash and and Spyro having a big brother/little brother dyamic. I didn't like how they had Crash go from a lovable goofball who was heroic in his own right, to a more aggressive, overally confident lone wolf who likes to say "extreme" a lot. And that's not even mentioning the choice to make him speak. It really felt like the show missed the point of why Crash is such a beloved character

So I decided to try and rewrite the story to better fit Crash's personality in the games, while also using it as an opportunity to have other Crash heroes and villains make a appearance. Basically I want it to feel like a true crossover. Currently I'm still planning stuff out, so it's gonna take a while for the next chapter to be published, and knowing me I might not fully finish it. But I'm more then open for suggestions, questions and help

I have two sides to me at the moment:

One side wants to create this fangame for Sonic, with Underground Elements like Sonia and Manic - as well as give character Redesigns for any new character that comes in.

On the other... I want to write a Skylanders Remake, where the cast of Skylanders are given development as well as have a new sect of characters struggling to understand their role as Portal Masters after the 'death' (If he's a spirit, he's fucking dead) of Master Eon...
