so question uhm ive been wondering but how big is a skylander giant compared to beuo? Did i spell that right? Pretty sure i did but sorry if i didn't.😅
God, this is a hot minute from my Skylanders rewrite AU but I am more than willing to pull out the records from my archives-
SO! The giant's size depends on how old they are, for giant's never stop growing until they die. This is actually because their bodies become the very floating islands everyone lives on. This is a built in biological fail safe due to the ever continuous consumption of the islands from Darkness and the volatile nature magic often exhibits. Giants are the literal stepping stones of all life.
The biggest/oldest living giant's as of now is the King of Trees. You may recognize him by other names but as of now, thats what many call him
He has an entire town on his back
The tiny specks on the ground there is Beauo and Rattke Shake
But often, some remains are mistaken for giant remains as magic has odd effects on different beings. Humans for example are immune to magic of all kinds but the moment they die, magic can affect their bodies. Sometimes it turns the human body into rocks and moss... or it makes the remains grow into the size of a vast canyon
So all in all, it depends on how old the giant is and that the islands everyone walks on was once a giant.
"HAHAHAHAHA HA! I, KAOS, HAVE RISEN TO DESTORY YOU SKY-LOSERS AND YOUR NEW LITTLE PRINCESS TOO!!! NOTHING CAN STOP ME NOW!!!"
OK I held him hostage long enough, I've been busy this week so I don't have anything else but this... :')
Now you may be wondering,
"How is Kaos in this lore rewrite?"
Well sit back and have some popcorn cuz its a doozy!
"Herald be named, Kaos, last true kin of the portal masters of light. Now deformed and darken by ambition's flame. May he never walk your way"
- Prayer by a lost Mabu shaman
Long before Beauo, and even longer before the academy, Eon and Kaossandra had Kaos. Now, during this time, both were still recovering from the Great War. Their wounds, still fresh on their minds and their fears ran through them like a blade. They were young. Inexperienced, and most of all, afraid. And in their fear, they unintentionally doomed the future of their own son.
Prophecy and fate ran their lives and in doing so, fed Kaos the same belief. The belief of him becoming the next Portal Master that will unite the world once more, in an era of peace and healing. With these goals in mind, Kaos practiced his magics, studied the ancient knowledge of the world, and worked to the point his bones broke and his mind burned. He strived for praise from his elders but nothing was good enough...
But in thinking that he became portal master, he could finally gain the praise and admiration he deserved. All this came crashing down when he received the news about the prophecy... it was never meant for him and in this, he snapped.
All he worked for, all he had done, the pain and suffering he went through was all for nothing. So if he couldn't have what he deserved, then no one else could. Kaos is said to be so evil, just being around him could cause your mind to corrupt itself. There are only a few things Kaos would NEVER do as even he has his limits. But anything from pillaging, environmental destruction, poisoning mythical beings, and murder are a typical Tuesday for him. In a snap of his fingers, whole fleets and army's are destoryed and he wouldnt even bat an eye at it. Some would say that his soul would be too evil for Tartarus. But regardless of how evil he is, the only sliver of good in him comes from his love for those who are outcasts, deformed and unwanted. He openly accepts them into his kingdom. He especially has a love for hydras. Seeing that he can shape-shift into one in honor of his one and only pet (which sadly died at the hands of the skylanders).
In no time, Kaos had become one of Skylands most vile beings. Following the path of his uncle, Strykore, he dove into the depths of dark magic. Selling his soul to the darkness in exchanged for power, Kaos quickly grew in power. Such dark power took its toll on him, forever deforming the young scholar. But he doesn't care....
Kaos wants nothing more than to destory Eon's world and build a new empire. So that no one can take anything from him again. He would have the world, while the rest would have nothing, just as he did.
Now, despite his evil deeds and obviously turning down a path of redemption, Eon still tries to protect his son from his consequences. Mainly protect him from being killed by the skylanders but in his old age, he's finding it more difficult. His son will have to face the consequences but he can't bare to see it happen and do nothing about it. So, he will continue to keep him alive as best as he can, even if Kaos doesn't want him to. Making their relationship more strained than it was at the beginning...
When news of the actual portal master appeared. Using his spies, he watched from afar and grew resentful of the star born child. Now he plots to get rid of her. Despite not caring for fate, he feels that if she continues to exist, he will finally feel the bite of a steel blade against his neck and face the consequences of his actions... or maybe someone will intervene for the third time and leave him humiliated and broken once more.
"I have seen many walks of life, but im never seen a human walk before me.... atleast one thats still alive" - Grim Creeper
HEY GUYS! Guess who's back at it again! This time I got a fan favorite right here,
GRIM CREEPER
This is actually Grim Creeper II, his son.
Hope you enjoy!
NOW LORE TIME!!
Inquisitive, clever, and stubborn Grim Creeper II is one of the many sons of the original Grim Creeper. Taking part of the family business, his main job is to guide souls into the underworld and to make sure the dead stay dead. Which is why he never really sees a living person. In fact, living people in the underworld is unheard of. Which fuels Grim's curiosity of the living and their world.
With being a reaper, comes power and responsibility. Such as soul reading, deathly touch, and many other soul related powers. It is very rare for a reaper to misuse their powers as these gifts are a double edge sword. Sure, they're essentially immortal and can read people and their intentions before even speaking to them. But the job gets tiring and soon a reaper would want to retire and pass the scythe to someone else.
With the underworld being secluded die to the nature of it, news, pop culture, and other modern day stuff don't reach the underworld until much later. In fact, no living being, except the portal master, can enter the underworld. Those they enter without any protection will slowly die and become one of the many residents that reside in the underworld. And with the reapers on patrol, they make sure no living over stays their welcome. It's a rough job, but a necessary one. So when the young Beauo received an invitation by the 3 high lords of the underworld, of course Grim caught wind of it.
What was the invitation in question? Well it was actually a cry for help. Recently, ghouls have started to congregate in large numbers and started to attack the civilians of the underworld. Which is unheard of as ghouls are solitary creatures. So they high lords ask Beauo and her friends to get to the bottom of it, or they'll be forced to take action. That action being a purge that will hunt down any and all ghouls. Hearing this, Beauo got to work quickly as her friend, Ghost Roaster, could become a target.
That's when the curious reaper ran into her. Or more like he was observing from afar. He greeted her when she got separated from Ghost Roaster and Chop Chop. Seeing the portal master alone, he approached and began to introduce himself. You see, Grim was always dubbed as trouble due to how he dressed and his job. So he often has a persona of being a troublemaker. When in reality, he's pretty laid-back and smart, albeit questions a lot fo things.
Beauo saw no harm in greeting the young reaper and decided to let him stick around as he seemed pretty alright. During this time, he asked a lot of question about Beauo.
"I have heard many tales of humans and their capacity for cruelty... but you, you don't seem to be the type to be cruel... why is that?"
"Just like the people in skylands, there are good and there are bad. Humans arent all that different from the people here. Its just about meeting the right people"
Beauo answered with a frowned eyebrow.
"Well forgive my ignorance, i have never had a conversation with a human. Nor seen one that is still alive. So I had to see you with my own eyes. I believe you, but i hardly believe your the portal master. You seem very young" Grim retorted
The two conversated until Ghost Roaster and Chop Chop reunited with Beauo. But it wasn't all happy. In fact, Ghost Roaster nearly blew a casket (hehehe get it? Cuz hes dead) seeing a reaper near the portal master.
"HEY! BACK OFF REAPER! SHE HAS PERMISSION TO BE HERE!"
"Whoa, pump the hate breaks there, Ghoulie. I was just escorting her because she was heading into a bad part in town. If i wanted to do anything, it wouldve been done a long time ago"
After a bit of arguing Beauo made the two agree to get along until their ordeal is over. However, this didn't stop the passive aggressive comments between the ghoul and the reaper.
After some digging, they found out that a necromancer was using the ghouls to collect souls and fuel their master's endeavors. Which the ghoul and the reaper had no choice but to work together. With help from Beauo and Chop Chop they managed to defeat the dark mage and release the ghouls from their control. They quickly disburse after that and the four collectively sighed in relief.
Returning to the high lords, they gave their findings to them and were now able to leave. Seeing this opportunity, Grim asked to join Beauo and see the living world. Seeing no harm in it, she let him join her team. Despite the old ghoul rolling his eyes and huffing. But he came around eventually.
Seeing the living world for the first time, Grim was ecstatic. He could experience what modern day media and culture had to offer. Meet new people, and see the Skylander Academy itself. Even if it was a bit of a culture shock, he enjoys every second of what life had to offer and made more friends than he did in the underworld.
With his quick thinking and the drive to learn, he was able to become a skylander in no time. But he paced himself by skipping a few classes. He gotta keep that troublemaker persona up, afterall. >:]
"I used to have wings.... I gave them up to save a mother and child.... but at the cost of losing my own.... and now I will live with that price for the rest of my life"
I betcha you can't guess who this is! Jk jk
It's our lovable and goofy old Sky Baron, Jet-Vac!!!!
I bet you're wondering how he got this way! Well look no further as it's
LORE TIME!!
(TW: some dark themes ahead)
During the times when the Sky Barons soared through the sky, Jet-Vac was a young warrior, a husband, and the father of two children. His clan was peaceful, often helping neighboring villages whenever they can. It was peaceful, none were prepared for what was to come.
A raiding clan of trolls and goblins attacked the village one night. Fire and smoke filled the air as death took over the land. Jet-Vac was one of the last of the warriors left. He had searched for his wife and children.... only to find them too late. Filled with rage and bitter revenge, he took on the offensive and attacked back.
Despite being severely outnumbered, he managed to fight his way through the hordes. But then he heard a cry, trapped in one of the homes, was a young mother and her child. Quickly he gave up on his mission and took upon another. Using his wings, he flew to their aid and took them to one of the retreating airships. The burning air and crimson flames began to burn the feathers on his wings and body. But he kept going until they reached the airship. Safely placing them onto the deck, a burning bolt of fire struck him on the back.
There, he fell, while falling he burned. And burned bright he did. Along with his fellow warriors, he collided into the ground and welcomed death with open arms...
But he didn't die...
He woke up in the care of Eon and his skylanders, nursing him back to health with what healing magic they had st the time. His wounds did heal, but he had lost his wings and arm. His eye was too far got to heal, so they had to remove it.
Seeing his courageous actions and selfless nature, Eon offer Jet-Vac to join his side. Even with his lack of limbs and sight, he was given prosthetics to help him continue his work. Up until retirement of course. He now teaches at the skylander academy as a professor. Teaching the students the value of self sacrifice and self preservation.
Despite his old age, Jet-Vac is still highly skilled. Often times, students at the academy would test his boundaries and try and catch him on a bluff. It comes to their surprise when he knocks them on their ass or catches pencils thrown from behind. Just because he lacks an arm and eye, doesn't mean he can be pushed over.
Overcoming his grumpy attitude, Jet-vac is trully a goofy and kind hearted hero. He only wants to best for his students and often gets a bad reputation for being short tempered. But he trully is patient, he just doesn't tolerate delinquency. All he asks is to listen to him and in turn he'll do his best to help. He may be gruff, he may be a little short at times, but he always is there for his students.
As for the young portal master, Beauo, he gives his free time to be her teleporting dummy.... as long as she doesn't teleport him on the roof... again
Hiii!! Just wanna say I love your skylander au and rewrites! It made me even like it more than the canon one teehee-

(((You reading my mind something??? How did you know they were next?? Lol jk jk))
Well it was inevitable I'd get to these cool cats!
Presenting....
FREEZE BLADE AND TRAP SHADOW
"I can run laps around you before you could even set a trap!!"
"Silent patience will ultimately win against your recklessness..."
Now for the lore!!
(For those who love my content, thank you. From the bottom of my heart! I love reading your comments and seeing you interact! I apologize for not posting much, i have a lot of exciting life events happening so my attention has been towards those! Ill see you in the post!!)
T"rap Shadow.... where does one begin... simple, towards the darkness."
-Beauo
Born from shadow and raised in indoctrinated hate, Trap Shadow was doomed from the start. Doomed to follow the footsteps of his father and his father's father. From an early age, he was trained to be an assassin for the Hand of Darkness. A clan of ruthless and greedy killers who'd kill anything or anyone for the right price.
Their hearts were black and had no room for love or curiosity. They kept their eyes on the prey and never beyond that. But Trap Shadow was different. He had found beauty in the world around him and found people that were not of his clan. For the first time, he had interacted with the world around him. Often, he was he'd from afar, yearning to learn more but too afraid to break the code of the clan. Once in a great while however, the young cat took trickets and other object and hid them so he can study them. Not out of thievery, he always brought them back, but out of curiosity and wanting to see what was on the otherside... sort of speak. And with that, light began to shine in his heart
Once these soon-to-be assassins come to age, they are forced to fight one another until the last one stood. Forced to fight his own blood, Trap Shadow refused and in doing so... was punished severely. Having his tail and finger docked and a branding seared onto his chest.... the mark of the prey.... and once that was done, he was soon hunted by the clan.
Despite the clan's evil, they allowed him a head start. And with that head start, he ran as far as he could... but to no avail. He was soon ambushed by his own family. Before the killing blow, Trap Shadow was rescued.
Waking up, Trap Shadow was face to face with the Swap Force Team. Feeling indebted, he joined them in hopes of repaying them. Obviously, they tried to refuse but Wash Buckler thought otherwise. He allowed Trap Shadow to join, but it was no cake walk.
The young cat had to unlearn a lot of bad habits during his training. It was a long and steep road but he managed to not only prove himself, but also learn to embrace his love for curiosity. After many years, Trap Shadow had earned his place as one of the heads of the Swap Force.
(NOW FOR FREEZE BLADE)
Coming in hot! (Or cold) one of the fastest cats you'll even see! Freeze Blade is a champion ice skater and world renowned hockey player. This cool cat strives to go fast! Albeit reckless at times.
Although he tends to get easily excitable, Freeze Blade has a heart of gold and great sportsmanship. Often trying to get others to join in on a game or even helping a player off the ice if they're injured. But just like all skylanders before him, he found himself wanting to do more with his life. He strives to help others and have fun doing it.
Seeing his speed and potential, Eon recruited Freeze Blade into the swap force. There was was whipped into shape by both Night Shift and Trap Shadow. The cool cat excelled in his line of work. From transporting supplies to putting out fires with his ice, Freeze Blade became quite popular. Well more popular than he was before. But despite his popularity, he tries to keep a humble persona. That doesn't mean he won't give an autograph or two to an admiring fan.
This is just a small doodle of what Beauo lives in.
Beauo's lighthouse, small but cozy, gets quite a lot of visitors. Whether it be Flynn's cargo ship, Spyro racing by, or even just a friendly pirate. It's shocking to thinking Beauo still gets a good amount of sleep despite how noisy it can get
"A portal spirit is more dangerous than its master.... it will do anything to protect them... even at the detriment of the master themselves" - Eon
Possesses Beauo, anyone?
LORE TIME!!!
Summoned from the darkest parts of the void, beyond where the light can reach, lives a part of all portal masters. A part they casted away long ago. All but one, of course.
Possessed by her own portal, Beauo is entrapped in dark armor and razor steel. Her face shrouded and her mind made empty, only one thing is left.... survival.
A process all young portal masters go through, they must learn control and discipline. Or else their portals take control of them in fear of losing their master.... in an attempt to protect them, the portal will take over and destroy any that are perceived as a threat.
There is only one thing that can stop this.... letting it run its process. It doesn't last long but if not contained, it can leave destruction at their wake.
Hey guys! I know I know totally rare triple upload! BUUUUUT I've wanted to share with you on some world building I have cooked up recently. Well technically it was in the works since I started this project but imma share with you some tasty lore!
If you want me to make more of these, let me know!
NOW ENTERING....
The Underworld
Ever wonder where souls go after death?
A world below the floating islands, deeper than the Under Dark, the Underworld resides in a realm only accessible to the dead and undead. The Underworld is the next step towards the afterlife. All dead go here regardless. There, the dead have the choice to be judged in the Great Hall of Death or to stay and finish unfinished business.
Now, the outcome of being judged depends on how a mortal lives their life. If a mortal was good, they go to the afterlife for those who did good. If bad, and depending on how bad, they can serve time in the underworld to work off their sins. Or if they are irredeemable, are sent to one of many hells. A soul can apply to be reincarnated and be sent back to the land of the living, but this is only allowed for very few souls. This judgement process is both painstakingly slow and very strict. Which can deter most souls. Making the underworld a very crowded place. But after the defeat of Malfor, the previous ruler of the Underworld, did this process speed up. Albeit not by much. So the gods have created a solution to this overcrowding problem (More on this later).
The underworld is ruled by 3 lords, each representing the people of the Underworld. It's through them that souls are judged and given their karma.
Now, there are many races of people that live in the Underworld. But the living can only turn into 3 (with a fourth secret option!)
Ghosts, Skelton, and Revenants.
Each was once a living being in Skylands and depending on how the person died equates to what they become in the underworld.
Those that died suddenly or are unaware that they have passed turn into ghosts.
Those who died of old age or sickness become skeletons.
Those who died violently become revenants. Which have the tendency to be called "Zombies" due to their appearance and pop culture media. But be assured, they are not flesh eating/soul stealing corpses. But they can be your grandpa!
Now the fear of revenants didn't appear until the great Necromancer Panic. You see, a group of inexperienced Necromancers had accidentally created an abomination known as the Soulless. These soulless being are very dangerous and hard to put back into their graves. In fact, they can spread like wildfire if not found in time. They are called the Soulles becaise they are a corpse without a soul. And they can create more by sucking the soul from unsuspecting living in an attempt to fill the void. Which can create hordes.
Because of these things coming to life, revenants are sadly seen as one of them and have be ostracized in many places in both the living and dead world.
Now, remember that solution of the overcrowding problem? Well, because of how bad it gotten, the gods created a race of beings known as Ghouls.
Now, ghouls are extremely rare and very solitary creatures. It doesn't matter how a mortal was in their life, but at random chance, a mortal can become a ghoul. And ghouls play an important role in the Underworld. Ghouls must feed on the dead by absorbing their soul essence. By doing so, the dead are automatically reincarnated and after around 5000 years, the ghoul can be released from their duties and be sent to the afterlife as a rewards. However, die to how painful the job can be emotionally, Ghouls are almost always given the sweet relief of madness. So they are unaware of what they are doing and they can continue their job.
Now, all dead must be permitted to exit the Underworld in order to go to the land of the living. But the living can not reside in the Underworld. Unless invited or sent there by a long, forgotten curse. Despite many warnings, some mortals will try and break the rules. To remedy this, the gods created yet another race of beings known as Reapers.
Sorta like law enforcement, reapers have the job to both bring the lost (or unruly) dead to the Underworld and make sure everyone in the Underworld is dead. They are the great equalizers of the Underworld and if anyone alive is caught, they will more than gladly arrange for them to stay there... forever. Now there are a few exceptions to this rule. As stated before, if a living being is invited in, they can stay until their permit is up. Or the portal Master has come to visit. But even that rarely happens.
Due to the association of darkness in the Underworld, the Portal Masters of light had written old laws to prevent any portal masters to enter the Underworld. Which wasn't always the case as before the portal masters split up, it was their duty to check on the dead. But because of minor disagreements and light portal masters becoming a thing, no portal master had ever gone down there since....
