S: Kyla, your father and I don’t leave for El Salvadorada for another week. Are you sure you don’t want to stay in Oasis Springs a little longer?
Ky: I’m sure. I already enrolled in my classes at NCC. They start on Monday. Besides, you and dad have so much to do with getting the house ready to sell, I don't want to be in the way.
Ka: Don’t worry Mom. Kyla won’t be any trouble. And staying with us will give her a chance to get a headstart on her schooling.
S: I know, I know. I just feel like I’m putting too much on you both. You and Evelyn just got married, and I feel like I’m dropping Kyla on your lap for the two of you to raise.
Ky: I’m not a baby, ma.
