“Do you ever just get annoyed by everyone?”
“Alright, sleep time’s over. You had your chance for that,” the shifter sneered, practically pushing Gabe onto Sky, which threatened to knock them both onto the floor. “Off the bed and into a fucking shower, please.”
It was hours later, well into the night, before Gabriel stirred again. Her sleep had been filled with dreams of Skylar, but her current one in particular was intense. So intense in fact that her body was moving in response to it, hips seeking and now teeth sinking into the shoulder of the very man she was dreaming about.
It started with a roar, low, loud, and pure. Unlike anything any animal could make or even begin to comprehend, and directed straight at Lucifer. The other archangel tried to beg, tried to reason even, but anything he could appeal to had already checked out. Instead they continued to advance, their vessel’s eye glowing a bright blue with other eyes sprouting forth to join them.
The other angel attempted to show dominance by spreading his wings, an act he would soon come to regret as they finally made their way to him. When they do they’re quick to grab one of the wings with their mouth, tearing it off with ease. While the shock sends the other stumbling backwards before falling to the ground they summon a blade, his own in fact, to finish the job.
They’re about to go in for the kill when a part of them speaks warning them to wait and focus. It takes control to shove the free hand into the other angel’s chest, bringing grace away from his core to the front before jamming the blade in. Leaving him wounded and unable to move, but not killing him yet.
They summon Skylar Price to their side, grabbing him roughly by the collar. Something inside them screams and screams not to involve him but it goes ignored. Instead they push the man down, holding him in front of a screaming and crying Lucifer, begging for the phoenix’s life.
Heard you were talking to Luciiii.
