1. What's his weirdest hobby?

To be honest, Oliver is a hot mess that has no right to judge Craig’s old college habits when he still sits around in his pajamas some weekends with Amanda, binging on bad television. (It’s her reward for getting homework done early.)

I can totally see him trying to rope the cul-de-sac into weekly D&D nights, though.

7. Is he a DIY dad or hire someone else to fix it dad?

Oliver has the capacity to manage truly odd ball things while still needing to call someone to fix the stove. Growing up with parents of the “let the kids raise themselves” mentality will do that to you.

8. What's the weirdest thing he has eaten to date that Amanda would be ashamed of?

When he was pregnant with her, Oliver put soy sauce on almost everything. No matter how much she pulls a face over it, he likes to remind her that she only has herself to blame for it.

10. Top five times he cried because Amanda made him proud

Oliver is forever proud of her for knowing just what to say, even when knocking one to the established authority or standing up for what’s right. It never fails to light up his day to see the parts of her that are still like Alex that shine right through.

The top moment, though, was probably the most unexpected when he caught Amanda going off on someone who tried insisting that her dad was actually “your mom”.

12. Who is his dream daddy?

Craig! There was a serious crush on Matt, at first, no lie, but everything with Craig was remarkably easy to fall back into. (*cough*Probably because they’d always had feelings for each other.*cough*)

He slips extra snacks into the twins’ lunch bags now that Craig pretends not to notice and, on writing breaks or blocks, will work River into his work outs (usually with kisses or raspberries involved).

13. Does he get married to his dream daddy?

After some time, yes! Craig takes him back to their original campsite to propose, only this time with the girls. There’d come a time when Craig panics over thinking he forgot to pack the ring right up until River lugs it at Oliver’s forehead.

“Should probably be glad she didn’t decide to eat instead.” There’s a little hiccuping sob before, “Now get over here so I can kiss you senseless, you lug.”

16. Favorite dad joke?

(Oliver goes with the classics.) 

"Dad, make me a sandwich?” Amanda hollers from the couch.

“Poof!” Oliver mumbles into his mug of coffee, fingers waggling as he passes by. “You’re a sandwich.”

Tbh you're one of my favorite blogs, like every post teaches me something new about history, and you're so enthusiastic about it??? That's what really gets me my dude, I'm more of a WWII history buff, but you get so excited about the founding fathers and their time period it contagious, I get stoked too!! 10/10 love it, keep it up. <3
