5.If you could give your muse one gift, what would you give them?

       A little bit of love and happiness, because that is severely lacking in certain areas of his life and it saddens me to see how glum he can be sometimes. Often, he can pull himself right out of those funks, but with how deep a wound it is, I worry that the longer it goes on and isn’t mended properly, the more frustrated he’s going to get. I would, actual physical gift wise, probably buy him the biggest box of doughnuts in Llandudno, which, although I have never seen this kind of gift-box, likely does exist somewhere around. He isn’t much a fan of toppings or the icing, however, so it would have to be the dainty sort found on Llandudno Pier, coated a little too much in sugar & prepping everyone for diabetes … probably not a good idea to gift him with that, but the thought counts. Would in time also like to give him another puppy, so both he and Dinah have more to occupy themselves with during those summer months, because he doesn’t have too many friends and is always spending time with his dog.

Anxiously Jaysol swished his tail on the deck of the ship and gazed at the pirate captain with a fear that he could not contain. Pirates had tormented him since his first capture when he was younger and none had ever shown him compassion or mercy. They wanted the riches that only merfolk could get and with his tail wounded, Jaysol wasn't sure he'd be any use to this pirate. Sniffing, Jaysol asked in a firm voice, 'I’m curious. After killing me, what is it you’re planning on doing next?'

        ‘ I don’t plan on killin’ ya, but y’might be of some help to me, ‘ he answered, honestly, because there was no point no in trying to lie his way into finding the place he sought most in the world. There was no telling if he even knew himself where this location was, but the Captain could only assume that a mer-creature would, for every trail of theirs took them even further than the ends of the earth; further than he was used to travelling, which he found himself envious of. Jack spun on his heel for a moment, reaching for the splintered map that rested on his belt at all times, and he took a good long look, still unable to figure it all out. It was a trait of his anyway, that the struggle of reaching any kind of answer when it seemed to be more of a puzzle, took a lot longer than he liked— in fact, he often took weeks at a time trying to decipher half the treasures he found on his travels. But this one, it called to him .. and he desired it so much, he almost became an entirely different person in the search for it. Still - there was not a bone in his body that could or would slaughter anyone who had not wronged him, or attempted to strike him first. ‘ I know these waters far better than the land I have legs for, but I’m lost. I’m lookin’ for a place.. somewhere off the map, n’ I think y’can help me find it. ‘

1.What makes you the most emotional about your muse?

     A toss up between the poor relationship he has with his father and the firework incident, but I suppose I’d also include the rock cimbing accident he had when he was a little younger, back when his father used to go places with him and actually devote some time toward bonding. I’m not sure which I would place highest on that scale, because while two were life threatening, physically, the way his old man treats him has left him really out of touch with himself, where he now finds even the smallest of joys to be difficult to find. Emlyn is fun-loving && prided himself on that, but with every year that passes and with every miniscule amount of attention he receives from someone he was once so close to, he finds it really hard to enjoy life as much as he should.

'Now we’re being followed by rocks.' Sylark paused and glanced behind him at the over-sized boulders that had before been inching their way towards them but had now stopped. Giving his eyes a roll, Sylark pushed Captain Jack Sparrow forward, remarking with a scoff, 'Never had that one before... probably your doing, no doubt.'

     ‘ ‘M not a bloody magician, mate, ‘ the pirate remarked, his nose crinkling up as he too looked behind the pair to see a small trail of rocks following in their path. It looked oddly familiar, but he couldn’t place why.. and didn’t think he wanted to dwell much on the oddness of it all. Jack was all kinds of confused as they plodded onward; even his usual bouncy flouncy behaviour had taken a knock at some point, and as the sun blazed overhead, he wasn’t feeling too good about himself anymore. Slowly, bits and pieces slipped away until sanity seemed out of reach. A part of him began to panic, whilst another part found some joy in the feeling of not being all there. He had always been one to find terror in the idea of losing his mind, or forgetting everything he once knew, and now, as he felt a wave of madness trying to take control, that small bit of sense came fleeting back to him. ‘ Where exactly are we goin’? Do y’have any idea who ya dealin’ with? ‘

“What?” asked Diarmad brightly and he donned an innocent smile.  “Jus’ tryin’ to help my li'l brother out, that’s all!”  Diarmad gave him a little nudge and concern replaced his earlier amusement.  “Are ya doin’ all right though?  I know yer a bit nervous about this an’ all.  Ya know I’ve got all the confidence in the world with ya because you, you are Emlyn an’ yer magnificent at everythin’ that ya do!”  This was definitely no small exageration for the Cloud Walker as his brother had been the one to bring him back from death when Diarmad had tried to end his life all those years ago.  It seemed such a distant memory now.  All replaced by times of fun and adventure.  “What’s got ya nervous, Emlyn?”

  The blonde couldn’t help but crack a smile at the others confidence in him ; that was usually what aided him most in turning his frowns upside down, but there was still some small concern over the character he had to play. It wasn’t normally to this extent, his worrying, because he had been such a huge part of every theatre show for years now, so his acting was up to par, but for some reason, the Welsh lad just couldn’t settle down. ‘ I dun think anyone understands ‘ow tight these tights are - or the fact tha’ they’re squashin’ everythin’ tha’ needs room to breathe, ‘ he offered, not wanting to give too many of the graphic details, but feeling as though he would let loose anyway if he didn’t. It would always be simple enough to share that with another male, of course. Di would understand the pain that he was feeling if he used those terms. ‘ Peter Pan wasn’t my best choice for this one. ‘

The waters in northern Wales were unbelievably cold to Jaysol, who was much more accustomed to the warm lagoon of Luminera.  Explore, they had said.  Try to see more of the world, they said.  What he found was cold, dark water that held many fascinating creatures but not a single one of them were friendly.  Maybe that seal was, but that was about it.   Jaysol found himself on the dock, unable to bring himself to venture into the city once again.  He had been there enough to get at least one song stuck in his head, but he liked it and kept his spirits up by singing it.  It seemed of course, that his singing had attracted the attention of a young lad, and upon seeing Emlyn, Jaysol offered him a wide, charming smile.  “One of your songs?”  Jaysol arched a brow.  “Are you a performer?”  He nodded slightly, his smile still present in his eyes as he spoke, “Mm, yes.  Frequently.  Thank you though.  That’s actually the first kind word I’ve heard in a while.  My name is Jaysol.”

  Emlyn saw to it most days that he found some time at the end of each non-working day, to wander along the promenade or pier, in the hope of finding that much needed breeze to clear his senses of all those early mornings and late nights. It wasn’t a job he loathed, by any means, but the closer the summer months got, the more hours he found himself on stage in front of hundreds. The jolly noise of children screeching the songs back to him, however, was what made it all worthwhile ; along with actually enjoying the show itself and how well it had been put together. With how frequently he heard others singing along to those famous songs, there was always a bright, cheerful smile on his face - the sort that could not be knocked off so easily, and when he heard the other male singing quietly to himself, he felt it only natural to approach. Strangers were his favourite people to get to know .. even if his usual timidness in social situations sometimes made people believe otherwise. ‘ ‘Am, yea, ‘ a smile remained as he offered his response, turning just a ways toward the shore and pointing off to a large glass building across the way. ‘ There’s a show every Friday an’ Saturday in tha’ building, but today .. thankfully .. it’s my day off. Is nice to meet yer —— ‘ stretching out his hand toward the male - the blonde offered his own name, too, ‘ Am’ Emlyn. ‘

At the end of the dock, Jaysol continued singing out into the water, “Any dream will do.”

           Emlyn heard the sound before he actually caught sight of whom was singing, but the words, so familiar, pulled a bright smile across his lips as he picked up the pace and neared the waters edge beneath the Pier. Days off were always spent on the beach, either walking along the sand or paddling in the small waves, but he hadn’t really been doing either today. The blonde found a fun enough hobby in collecting seashells off the beach - taking a bucket load back home and as he had done years before, kept them all clean and tidy for his Gran. She was no longer around of course, but the sentimental aspect of it kept his spirits always lifted. Here, though, hearing such a familiar tune, ignited within him the same sort of emotion he felt when the audience would sing that back to him, and he was now wanting all the more to find out who this man was. Naturally, he wasn’t opposed to introducing himself to strangers, because he had such an opportunity after every afternoon show, so approaching the male whom sat upon the dock, he offered a gentle smile. He had intended to join in with the joyous singing, but figured it best to introduce himself first, somehow, without it being too awkward. ‘ ——yer’ve a great voice ! do yer get a lot of praise for tha’? Tha’s one of my favourite songs ‘an yer dun ‘alf do it justice.. ‘

"Don’t argue with me. You’re beautiful." Diarmad stared unflinchingly at his brother with his arms crossed for just a second longer before his face broke into a wide grin.

             ‘ Di . . ‘ the blonde huffed in annoyance as he very expertly held his hands on his hips in a very feminine manner, no sign of a smile dancing across his own features just yet because he was actually concerned. ‘ I look like I’m tryin’ too ‘ard to be cute an’ ‘am clearly nothin’ o’ the sort. ‘ In fact, he had made more of an effort than had been the norm for him during these particular scenarios, but mostly just for himself, so he could feel comfortable.. and worry a damn sight less than he so often did any other time. It was perhaps a bit ridiculous of him to feel any kind of worry about his appearance, even though they were performing in front of little ones and he sorta felt he had to look like one himself, for no particular reason other than maybe it would make the kids feel more at home.
