I’ve come across a bit of @skysilencer’s original TLJ throne room meta as screenshots on Twitter. I know she isn’t active anymore, but hopefully we can save a bit of this glorious analysis!

I saw your tag and actually I've been wondering for a while. Did skysilencer deactivate? May I know why? I followed her before my first (or second) tumblr hiatus this year and when I came back I didn't see her posts (her meta analyses used to be my favorites). I thought she changed her username but I didn't know who to ask.

she deactivated because a particular group targeted her with endless harassment and death threats over a meta she wrote about the overwhelming amount of sexual symbolism in TLJ. A meta she was 100% correct about, but puritanical people lost their goddamn minds about it. I think she might have started an art blog, but she hasn’t written analysis since then afaik.

No I haven’t, I miss her thoughts though, and I’ll be forever mad that she was bullied into silence like that because she was one of the few gems who actually knew what the heck she was talking about. She really knew/knows her stuff about mythological storytelling.

Dear Chandrilasky, I find it really sad that you decided to delete your blog, though I fully respect your decision. Your metas on the Star Wars sequels, both enlightening and entertaining, made me want to join the tumblr community in the first place. I will miss them.

I have Krita, and overall I like it, but be careful bc in my experience it CRASHES SO FUCKING EASILY. Save every 5 seconds, swear to god, lol

Yikes thanks for the heads up. So far my laptop seems to be doing okay with it. I’m a compulsive saver anyway from playing video games. It’s the pressure sensitivity that’s driving me nuts. I shouldn’t have expected so much from a ten year old tablet. :’D

well I was going to respond, but i realize that’s not even going to help here. It was weeks ago, and several people vagued me, including you. I honestly know my blog stirs up “drama” but we both know a part of that is that I’m autistic and another part of it is that antis target me, but ok… go ahead and continue with the attitude my dude. I was just trying to say is this REALLY worth it? Maybe I’m trying to just have a conversation.
