Skytop III brief review

Pros:

Pretty mellow Hi-Tops, they're not too hi or too low, they're taller than your average mid but shorter than most other Supras.

Lighter than they look, I thought they'd be on the heavy side but they're light as fuck.

Great heel cushioning, takes impact well

Great ankle protection, don't have worry about your shit rollin all over the place.

Minimal stitching, theres not too many stitches on these things the ones that are there are well protected by the rubber flaps on the side so no worries on rips n shit.

For a cup sole they have pretty good board feel, I got used to vulcs so jumpin back to cup soles had me worried but the transition wasn't that big.

These things are nearly indestructible, the only shit that's gotten fucked up on em are the soft mid sole.

Theres a hidden pouch in the tongue for stashin shit

They're hella comfy, it's like a pocket full of clouds b.

Some of the futuristic looking parts look goofy at first but they actually function pretty well, especially the rubber parts.

Cons:

Loses grip, I don't like shoes to stick too much so breakin em in was a plus for me but I noticed when I went to a concert that they're don't favor too well on slippery surfaces. I never had to worry about sliding in other shoes but these I dunno maybe they just had too much dirt on the sole but still. If you like really grippy shoes these will disappoint you. As someone who loves vulcs seeing smooth spots on the sole kinda makes me nervous.

Overall they're a pretty legit shoe, if you fuck wit mids and hi-tops prolly some of my fav shoes ever.

I was worried about making the jump from vulcs back to cup soles due to board feel n shit, but Skytop III's actually have pretty good board feel so the transition is minor really.

Found some Skytop III's at a thrift shop for $17 in decent condition, so far I love em will be back with update after I skate em a bit more
