Oh wow that is tough, well something I have found is if they are making racist, homphiopic, or transphobic jokes, is when they finish the joke and expect you to laugh stare them dead in the face and say. "I don't get it." Make them feel uncomfortable about being shit, but as for cutting them out of your life, it will be, very, very rough with the parents being friends but if they make you feel bad for being you then it must be done, hundreds of us here will always love you though <3

i knew i would have to deal with my friends racism, mild homophobia, disrespect to transgender people, and their bullying of others. ive wanted to cut them out of my life for a long time now, but its really hard to when their parents are friends with ours and they have been your friends for as long as you can remember. i just don't know what to do. i feel trapped.
