Lmfao ok so I do insurance claims for car accidents and this lady calls in to tell me she had an accident that morning. I start out asking if she’s okay, what happened, and shes like yeah I’m okay, I managed to get out of the car before it sank into the river 👀 and I’m like girl wtf you’re sure you’re ok?? So turns out she’s on her way to work early morning, back road that tends to flood in heavy rain. She hits a patch of flooded road, hydroplanes and tumbles down the embankment and feels the front end of the truck getting pulled in by the current. At this point she has the sense to put down the window and climb out onto the roof of the truck. It starts like fully floating down the river while she calls 911, who takes forever to get all the way out there, so by the time they came to rescue her the car had sank and she was hanging onto a tree branch like a quarter mile down the river. They had her tie herself to a rope so they could pull her out, the current was so strong no one could go in after her. She really did make it out with some bruises and hypothermia, no lasting damage, thankfully. We just got the truck out after a few weeks. I saw that Chevy post and honestly thought it was the same truck for a minute
