What was the audience reaction after the Legend screening? Lots of applause, muted applause? Did people seem to like it?

Lots of applause, I think overall people enjoyed it. I haven’t heard of anyone being absolutely blown away by it, but it’s gotten a positive reaction so far from what I’ve seen. I think it’ll do well when it’s fully released!

Since I was lurking... Film ask meme #1: What’s the most depressing movie you’ve ever watched?

OOH its definitely a tie between The Road, which is by far the hardest I’ve ever cried during a film, and The Snowman which like traumatized me as a child so badly I can’t watch it or hear the song because it makes me so unbelievably sad.

#16. - film ask meme. A film u love that everyone hates.

Hmmm… Let’s see… 

I’m gonna pretend ‘everyone’ is the critics and say Sucker Punch. I think people on tumblr like it, but I remember when it came out my cousin went to see it and didn’t like it, and then the critics weren’t so good? Because it objectifies women and everything. Idk. I just love that movie.

This show requires way too much suspension of disbelief. So between AA meetings & being a DA Laurel knows super Kung Fu.Thea is a Samurai. Her father takes a supersonic jet 2 find the sword. Good grief. At least Diggle was realistic with the bow.

You know, I used to complain a lot about it being too soon for Laurel to be BC but the truth is, she's been on this journey for 3 years worth of show. She's been through heavy shit and she has always wanted justice for people. Plus she did have some fighting skills. I recently rewatched the show from the beginning and in the first episode we see her take down a guy in a nightclub. I mean, I do understand where some of the reticence is coming from, and I shared it, but I'm willing to give this story the benefit of the doubt. The writers have said multiple times she's going to mess up, a lot. But the thing with Laurel is that she always gets back up.

With Thea I have a little more trouble really buying it, and I think it's because the narrative really did skip too much.

Seriously man. I gave up after two years and loc'd my hair up lol. One of the best things I've ever did.
