“You don’t THINK I tried the moment they threw me in here?” There’s contempt in Lydia’s voice, reverting into her old mean girl persona out of nerves. The thing she’s referring to is the barred window, high up in one corner of the room with barely enough room to wiggle through. The first moment Lydia had woken up she had climbed up planning to smash the window with her banshee screams, however, the bars had been iron and she had nearly burned the skin of her palms off. “They knew I was a banshee and put iron across the window, I'm guessing they know what you are too. My calvary knows I'm missing, so I'm sure they’ll come storming in here soon.”
