Sweat I can't be the only one who's noticed this right but Millennials and gen Z have created term for people with larger body types or people with more I guess I should say mess to them in a non insulting way that word being "thicc"
Older generations use terms like:
Fat, big boned, whale, chubby, heavy, lard, obese*, big, fleshy, pudgy, cow, foodie, baloon, hippo, blob, blimpy, potbelly, toad, sleech, tugboat, slob, rhino, nard, a bunch of other uses for lard, or squat.
Us younger generations use more lighthearted terms a lot more and in a much more passive or complementary way such as:
Burly,tubby/chubby (often used for babies or smols), ample, chonky ( always positive and almost always used for animals),fluffy, and of course, THICC.
From what I've seen it seems Millennials got more of the full blunt of "get thin" thrown at them buy magazines and such. While gen Z is more focused on the curviness of people and your weight has become less and less of an issue. then again we do have other things to focus on... Like... WW3... Planets on fire... Bunch of new plagues... But hey at least now im only called fat by old people.
Our Generation has changed with technology along with their terms this comes with as always the positives and the negatives of every new advancement in our lives it's time to smile because of the positives and try to improve the negatives smile that we are treating people better whether it be with terminology or just out of love and try to improve the way we speak to others as a constant.
Love yourself and get a good nights sleep if you can. Muah <3
*(obesity is a medical term for those at risk because of weight that is not exclusively about body type or fat and involves other aspects often out of a person's control. Obese was a term many used as an insult. Always correct someone who is using it wrong. Everyone deserves the chance to learn more and to improve.)

Gevaarlijke beesten in Thailand
Gevaarlijke beesten in Thailand
