so i just finished Shadowlord and Pirateking.
holy shit. holy shit. hoooooooly shit.
i can't even begin to say how much i enjoyed this. holy shit.
and the art. ohmygod i loved the art. That was my favourite art this paperlegends. I even changed my phone wallpapers to it. I chose that art over Dylan O#Brien okay that is how much I thought it gorgeous.
and the story. bob oh how much i hate you! like urgh just kill me please I don't even know what to say anymore. The writing was perfect as always. and it was such a difference from LM. Even though the characters are the same they yet weren't.
I personally loved this Merlin like idek. SO MUCH BADASSERY (give me some bamf and I am out) like holy shit just everything about Merlin was badass and his whole attitude towards arthur at first and *gushes*
And I think cerulaine said the same thing but the use of the word "pet" god. at first i was like "please no, don't" just as merlin was but over the course of the fic as merlin got used to the term and saw it as an endearment so did i. and i started to coo everytime Arthur called Merlin pet 'pet' so i just thought that was an amazing feature to achieve.
And Overall i can just say that i really enjoyed the concept behind the story. Space pirates and Ninjas. and shadowmagic, and some jedi-worthy tricks. and just AMAZING.
(and ohmygod they actually got married and arthur is an idiot on their 'official' wedding day and i just can't. send help.)
Only thing I thought was weird were the side-ships like Gwaine/Geraint???, Lucan/Will??
