Have any of you ever heard of the band Slash Puppet?

I ask because I just found out that (the band who won some awesome awards might I add) The lead singer is a close family friend! He was also on the same label as Rush. I seriously think someone is trying to tell me something by getting me in touch with all these Canadian bands who know/played with/ Were on the same label as Rush. Something is going to happen guys, I swear. 

Oh also if you ever watched the show Aaron stone on Disney the family friend I'm talking about was also the villain on that show Dr. Necros. Just in case you decide to look him up and only find his name as MIF on Slash Puppet
