if you look around you might find a better price, but then with shipping and conversion to CAD it’s always pretty much the same... and I always worry about how sketchy the quality will be for things that are suspiciously cheap lol

Edit: also want to point out the fact that I chose this one because it promised to ship it the next day (which it did) and the overall shipping time was good, so I wasn’t worried considering the con is in just over a month from now haha

Hi there! I just saw your post about the Asian/American illustrators and those questions you asked really got me thinking about all the stuff I do because of my background. For personal work I find some way to include POC characters because I think there's not enough of it. None of my professors or classmates say anything about that and I'm pretty happy about it. I have one classmate who's also Asian and she loves drawing Asian girls. She doesn't think about it and just draws what she likes.

Cool, I’m glad to hear it. I hope the lack of discourse from your classes is coming from a point of normalization and not from an unspoken “can’t talk about race” rule.

buying figurines at conventions is risky business yo- lots of bootlegs that are way overpriced! It’s a prize figure and I suspect him to be about $20 bucks so I would just keep an eye out! If I see him around I will definitely let you know as well \o v o/
