So, I’ve been wondering- well- it’s a few questions actually- hope you don’t mind- but: 1: How did you come up with the idea? Like, did you just wake up one day and go, “heh, Leo but he was raised by Draxum,” or did you see an episode and wondered, “oh, what if…”. 2: How long had you been drawing the turtles? Because holy truffle Mac’n’cheese the art style is just BEAUTIFUL- and the little animations/gifs you make- CHEFS KISS 10 FOLD! 3: And finally, who is your favorite turtle?

it was one of those cases where you turn into Thanos going "fine I'll do it myself" because I was reading a few separated au fanfics and there was a specific one where I really felt like they were not using "Leo raised by Draxum" at it's full potential to the point it became very frustrating to me, I also had that introduction scene stuck in my head with One dropping down in front of the other turtles that I had to draw it because I didn't see anyone else doing it like that

not that long really, all the hype around the movie is what got me to watch the series and it wasn't until I got really obssesed with Future-Leo-time-travels-to-the-past AUs and separated AUs that I started drawing the turtles. also thank you!!

from an outsider's perspective aka before I watched the series and knew anything tmnt related stuff, Mikey always seemed the most fun. Watching rise it it turned out that I love all of them, it really depends from episode to episode I guess, but Donnie stood out the most to me. But since starting the sep Leo au... Leo, is Leo, most specifically One, I love my boy

You might’ve already been asked but what type of clothes does one like to relax in ? As well as what he likes to do for fun or to relax as well. I tried to find it in your blog but I couldn’t see it 🥲

I do have a few designs that I posted some time ago, but he doesn't really have those clothes anymore since, y'know... his house blew up

I made this for fun more than anything, but most of them are more what Draxum got for him than things he chose himself, still, it is what he's used to wearing and what he kinda likes to use

for post-redemption stuff, after he moved in with the Hamatos, he just took whatever was available for him and was never picky or demanding on anything, mostly he ends up just wearing lose t-shirts and tank tops with shorts or sweatpants, honeslty anything sporty he's good with

Mikey and the others start custom making some shirts for him with funny things on them (I have a collection lmao) because they know One will not care and still use them

as for things he likes to do for fun uhhh... he's definition of "fun" mostly consists on: crossing the maze of death, practicing new knfe tricks, doing parkour (running from the police), and petty thief <3

the more "normal" things is that he sometimes plays basketball on his own or does skateboard, very weirdly but sometimes he likes to practice "human" magic, specially slight of hand stuff <- all of these are kept from Draxum since he doesn't aprove

Did One have any designs before the current one?

yes and not really?

yes because there's a short time when his design was simpler but I was still experimenting with what I wanted so it never made it out of a few sketches before I came up with the current design

this is what the other design looked like tho, is just the same but no spikes, no hood and no gold

Where is he hood attached to?

The hood is basically something like this

made of a thick and kinda rigid cloth to keep it on shape, just extend the shoulder parts with your imagination and don't have it look around the armpit.

It also gets a bit tucked under the shell a little bit, like this

is not clipped to anything so what keeps it in place is either the scarf or the rest of his uniform
