‘I licked it, so it’s mine’
The Maia frowned as he turned to the side to face his elf, a confused smile on his face. “Did you just lick me?”

Mairon held the leather collar in his hands, turning it about in thought. One of the saddles had made it to his specifications and added the iron ornaments to it that Mairon himself had made. It was a present for his elf, one he hadn’t been sure Celegorm would appreciate. Not until a few nights ago he had been too exhausted to eat by himself and Mairon had fed him by hand like he usually did with his wolves.
He got up from the anvil and made his way to their chambers. After that night they hadn’t done anything, apart from a little touching in the pool. Once he reached their chambers he placed the collar on the end of the bed, then a note next to it reading “This is for you. Let me see if it fits and wait for me in an appropriate way.” Then he left again, first for the stables and then for the kitchen, gathering several things he would need.
Orange wedges of sun rays gently began to creep over the horizon. It had always been a favored hobby of the elf to watch the giant sphere rise in the sky (still a rather new hobby). Celegorm sat happily nestled in the Maia's lap, still blinking sleep from his eyes as he balled his hand into the fabric of the tunic his master wore.
Leaning with his back against the cool stone wall the Maia had wrapped his arms around his elf’s waist, his hands resting comfortably in the others lap. While he himself didn’t fancy to look at the sun all too often he had taken the elf to the newly built balcony the higher levels of the nearly finished tower when the other had expressed the wish to do so.
Mairon rested his head against the wall, looking down on his elf rather than into the distance where the sun was rising.
