Thrash Metal Concerts are a Must!
Morning after the Death Angel, Anthrax, Slayer show.... and I realize I am old af lol I feel like I was beaten last night... I mean, I kind of was? But its been too long since I headbanged lol The ironic part was, during Anthrax, we were actually caught in a mosh XD lol Luckily the guys in it were so drunk and really not much taller than me so I could easily push them away. So my review of the show is: It was great, despite these all being old bands they laid it down hard. Newer bands would really have a hard time keeping up with Slayer's brutality live. Its just fun. Death Angel was amazing and Anthrax is always good plus they have Joey back singing and he is a great front man. The Reno event center has amazing sound, absolutely great venue. This was the first concert I have been in like... 8 years? its crazy but like riding a bike, you never forget XD Case-in-point, i'm standing back watching all these noobs wondering why there is an open space in front of the stage and no one is filling it (this would be where the mosh pit forms, that's why) and they kind of meander over there, like sweet I got this awesome spot, why is no one standing here? Needless to stay after the show starts you see them all running backward through the crowd to get away lol I was there once, you live and learn lol If you are a metal head and you have an opportunity to see these guys, do so, you will not be disappointed!
