If Instagram had existed in the Sengoku Period (I) - Hotaru

I wanted to contribute to @slbp-sidepiece-summer in some way, but since I wasn’t going to have time to write anything, I decided to make some graphics ^^

Looking at several templates for aesthetics (my original idea), I found an Instagram template and the idea amused me to no end o(≧∇≦o) So, I hope that you like this crazy technological AU (they can be set in modern times too).

On a side note, I play the English version and up to this Event, I’ve only played Radiance, so that’s why Hana’s there ^^

I’m giving the last touches to the second one and I’ll post it shortly, but I don’t know if I’ll have time to finish the third one *crosses fingers*

Fujibayashi Nagato no Kami and mini-Kansuke (teenager?) for @slbp-sidepiece-summer

Of the "Three Clans” of Iga, Fujibayashi is the most mysterious, LOL. It’s so hard to even find what Nagato no Kami’s actual name is. 

BUT.

The ONE legend that was super well-known about him is that he was Kansuke’s ninja sensei. I was sads that it didn’t get referenced in Tenka/SLBP. I mean, it didn’t have to be much. Like maybe... for all the needles Kansuke keeps on talking about, one of the Fujibayashi boys has needle-shuriken as their main weapon or something.

But nope, it’s Hanzo who has the needles.

My next addition to the SLBP flower boys series is the sleepy, lazy Kageie! Wow, who knew that lazy, sleepy boys who can’t be bothered could be so attractive *coughSaizoGenyacough* I tried picking flowers based on how I see Kageie but I’ve only read 2 ES stories and one was in Japanese. He seems...relatively uninterested in romance? I headcanon Kageie as demisexual, so I picked a couple of flowers I thought might represent that. I see him as someone who is devoted to you once he becomes attracted to you, calls you a dog and pets you like one, he is fiercely protective of you and will even turn on poor Yoshichi if he thinks he’s hurt you. I’m waiting for the day Voltage announces his main route. I wanted to include two other flowers but sometimes you gotta cut stuff out:

Arbutus - Only thee do I love

I would have liked honeysuckle for devoted affection and lilac for first emotions of love.

Announcement: SLBP Sidepiece Summer Celebration!!

Because there are so many lovely side characters in SLBP, and we all know they can always use more love, let’s host a fanworks celebration honoring them! Here’s the rundown:

Dates: August 18th & 19th, 2018

Who can participate?: Anyone! Anyone at all! Any kind of fanwork is welcome, from fics to art to playlists to needlepoint to interpretive dance!

Which characters count as side/NPCs?: It can be a bit murky to define, given what exists in Tenka, but as of now let’s go with this - any character that does not have a currently playable Main Story in the English SLBP game.

How do you participate?: On the aforementioned weekend, post your work with the tag #SLBPSidepieceSummer2018 - all works tagged such will be reblogged here for posterity as well. There is NO REQUIREMENT for these works to have a summer theme, it is simply a fun title and time to host it!

What if I can’t participate but want to contribute?: One easy way is to reblog this message or content! Another is, this blog will be open to submissions for ideas/requests - feel free to send them in, and creators can peruse your suggestions to see if anything sparks their fancy. (Check this space for a roundup post of prompts)
