Chapter 1

When the seatbelt sign turned off and the Stewardess said we could go out I was the first one to stand up and get out. I couldn't wait to get my luggage and get something good to eat because well, the food we got in the plane was bad.

After getting my suitcase from the luggage exclaim I walked out to look for Daniel. And there he was, standing there with a big smile on his face walking towards me.

"Daniel!" i said while letting my suitcase fall to the ground and walking towards him.

"Katie, good to see you again. How are you?" he asked while pulling me in for a hug.

"Good but I'm so exhausted. How about you?" I answered.

"I'm fine thank you for asking. Let's go to the car, the others are waiting for us already." He replied taking my suitcase and walking off.

"The others?" I asked him suspicious.

"I'm going to introduce them to you when we're in the car. Come on now" he said.

Ok, who did he take with him? I thought I was going to spend some time with my cousin, not with a billion other people. Oh god.

He opened the door of the car and said: "Ok, so this are Jai, Luke, James and the guy who will drive us home is Beau" he said as he pointed out to them. "Boys, this is Katie, my cousin from England. Be nice to her." Daniel added.

"Hey Katie" they said. 

"You can sit there, I'm going to sit next to Beau then" Daniel said as he pointed to the seat next to Luke.

" Ok" I answered and sat down next to Luke.

After a quite long car ride and some smalltalk going on, the car stopped and Beau said: "Here we are, get out Daniel"

He opened the door of the car and took my suitcase and said: "Come on Katie, see you later guys"

"Bye" I said with a smile on my face as I got out of the car and closed the door.

"This is really your flat? Are you kidding me?! You could've warned me!" I said poking Daniel.

"I'm not kidding Katie and now come in" Daniel answered as he unlocked the door and walked in.

"Thanks" I replied as I walked in as well.

"Do you want to drink something or do you wanna see your room first?" he asked me.

"Show me my room please? I can't describe how tired I am" I answered.

His flat was massive. I didn't remember it being that big!

"Follow me" he then said and went upstairs.

After walking around for a while and showing me the other rooms, he stopped in front of a door and Daniel said: " I hope you like it babe."

He then opened the door and pushed me into my room. "Wow Daniel, this is beautiful!" I said as I looked around in my new room.

" Really? We did have some work to do but as I can see it on your face you really seem to like it." he replied.

" I love it. Thank you." I answered.

"I'm gonna go and get your suitcase up here so you can unpack. Be right back" he said as he left the room. After a few minutes of waiting he came back with my suitcase, some drinks and some sweets. He knew I loved sweets and he bought my favourites. What a sweetheart. "I'm going to leave you alone for a while now. Shout if you need something" he then said and left the room and closed the door.

I still couldn't believe that this was my room now until I found my own flat. This was simply amazing. I thought I'm going to get some little room with a small window and only a bed in it but I got a massive room with a kingsize bed in the middle of the room, a desk, my own TV, and a wardrobe double as big as my old one in the UK. And not to forget I got a massive balcony.

I was going to take a shower as I heard some voices downstairs. Oh nevermind. After taking a shower, I went downstairs with my hair, soaking wet tied in a bun. As I heard the voices coming out of the kitchen, I didn't walk anymore. I stood in the middle of the stairs listening to them as I heard Jai saying:

"She's so pretty" 

" She totally is" James agreed.

"Yeah she is, but she could show it a bit more. Don't you think so?" Beau said.

Ouch, that was a massive self-esteem booster. NOT.

"Shut up Beau! You're still talking about my cousin. She's beautiful and she doesn't need to show it more." Daniel said.

Normally I didn't care what people who didn't know me were saying about me but for some reason it was different this time.
