Legend tells of a legendary King who set on a quest towards the islands of the sea. There he met a Knight, and toguether they bravely fought against their enemies. Sadly, the Knight died in combat not long after, and the King erected many monuments in his memory. Some say he kept a piece of his sword and placed It in his crown.....

That is the story this illustrated Page shows, in great detail, how the Knight was sworn to the Kings side. An important detail is the birds above, how one is killed by a Bird of prey of some Sort but the other stays alive, forshadowing the characters fates......
