i think that it was easy for all of us to say they were gonna screw it up bc..... well they screwed up everything with mcu clint so far so theres no trust there lmao. i think hailees a spectacular actress and will do kate some justice. lucky is there so thats a plus, and clint will be deaf which is good BUT i think they shuoldve recasted and gotten a deaf actor. honestly i think renner should’ve been recasted in general, he doesnt fit as fraction clint in anyway, especially with the family mcu set up for him. my main concern in all of this really is how they handle clint, because they cant be saying this is based on the fraction run when theyve already gotten rid of like all of fraction clints characteristics and stuff. im trying to remain positive about the other aspects outside renner, like the accuracies theyve displayed so far (hearing aid, kates shirt, even having hailee with blue contacts for kate, etc) and trust that the writers will make good choices. my current belief is that itll have the tie in to wandavision when wanda breaks and kills clint like in the comics, and the show will progress with kate as the sole hawkeye dealing with clints death, followed by the introduction of florence pugh’s black widow. of course, this prob wont be the actual route they follow but i hope theyre acknowledging that they cannot properly execute the fraction run due to the changes theyve already implemented and work around it so that its satisfying for the viewers who followed the comics.

tldr im being cautious about getting my hopes up as well, but have faith hailee will help carry the series and that the writers plan to tie in with wandavision will result in a positive escalation of the plot, even if it ultimately strives from fraction.

okay, if you want a totally honest answer, not really lmao. it has it’s moments but the cons outweigh the pros. i could literally write a paper on how the whole show is flawed but lmao, i’m still watching it

season 1 was actually pretty good, plot-wise, and then it derailed in season 2 - which had an inconsistent plot - had obvious shock factors just to move the bad plot - and consisted of major fan service to the main straight ships of bughead (betty/jughead) and varchie (veronica/archie), but more so the former. i’m still upset that they got rid of jughead’s aro/ace identity just so the actor cole sprouse can be sexualized for the teenage girl audience

the only good thing that came out of s2 was cheryl having a good arc and the bisexual wlw relationship of choni (cheryl/toni)

season 3 looks dark and like they’re starting to take themselves seriously, but it doesn’t look promising tbh but we’ll see

i’m still only watching for choni, for some of the actors i like, and betty/veronica’s friendship (or even a romantic relationship, which is doubtful since we were queerbaited with a kiss in s1) but ay that’s just me
