magikarp, the fish pokemon. #129 on the national dex and kanto dex, #079 on the johto dex, #052 on the hoenn dex, #023 on the sinnoh dex, and #049 on the central kalos dex.

magikarp (コイキング) is infamous for being considered the weakest pokemon in all of history, only learning a physical attack move (tackle) at the level 16. there isnt much to say about this pokemon as a hole as its just a fucking red fish. though it does evolve into the ferocious gyarados, a water/flying type, at level 20. in which it can evolve again through mega evolution in which it becomes mega gyarados, a water/dark type.

despite how bad of a pokemon magikarp can be, long lived ones are said to be powerful enough to splash over entire mountains. isnt nature just incredible?
