Daily you should watch gravity falls

You know, I’ve been told by friends so many times, “Oh you should watch this! You should play this! You should look at this!” And believe me, I would LOVE to. But I actually, physically cannot do it.

When I have a new interest, it remains my main interest for a VERY LONG time, and it’s almost like there’s this weird force preventing me from wanting to look at anything that isn’t Main Interest. I just won’t do it. It’s not gonna happen. It will continue to not happen until my main interest changes to something else, and I’m not sure exactly how that happens, I don’t really get to decide what it is

VERY RARELY I will gain a secondary interest that I still appreciate on a lower level at the same time as the main interest, but generally it’s nearly impossible for me to carry two active interests at the same time and I don’t know why

The only exceptions are the interests that USED to be my main interests but then got shoved aside by the new ones, I still care a good deal about them even if from a distance and like I can still get pretty damn excited about them [just ask regulars of the Daily Server, for instance], but even when they come back they just aren’t as strong as my current interest

Now, I would LOVE to engage with my interests like any other god damn person, but I just can’t, and I’m pretty much defined by whatever my current main interest is
