Just a thought why didn't any of the demigods at camp half blood get there godly parent symbol as a tattoo I thought the would so the can be close to there godly parent the only two people from CHB to do it was butch the son of lris he got a rainbow tattoo on his shoulder and Percy with the trident tattoo he got from camp Jupiter
I think Roman demigods inherently have more respect for their godly parent than the greek. They don’t know the gods like the greek do, still considering them these powerful entities to be respected and feared. In CJ the tattoo probably also has a functional advantage; showing rank, skills, how to deal with possible burial, etc.
The greek don’t have the same consideration. They know the gods and their bullshit. Would you get a tattoo of your absentee parent who only makes your life ten times harder than it needs to be?
Also, most kids at CHB are like 13, meaning they’re not even allowed to get tattoos, and they still go out into mortal society during the year.
