(i have 3 historical faves so ill answer for all of them ahh)

In your opinion, what is their biggest flaw?

nelson has quite a lot hhghdf, he was very arrogant and self-aggrandising (altho to be honest he did do a lot of stuff that was so impressive it would be hard to hype it up more than it warranted), his opinions on slavery were Bad, and he treated his first wife very unfairly. for henry vi i’d say.....probably his vacillation? it’s hard for him because he had a lot of traits which made him a flawed king but not a flawed person. & for chopin, he could be very difficult to deal with (due in part to mental and physical illness), and he tended to take out his frustration on other people.

If you had the chance to meet them, what is the first thing you would ask them?

if i met nelson i would say something he’d heard a thousand times like ‘ive heard about your daring exploits please tell me about the battle of santa cruz de tenerife does your arm still hurt how much can you see out of your eye’ & he would probably get very annoyed with me gdhdjfjh. i would be STRUCK DUMB if i met henry vi tho i would.......just stare at him i think. hes the king!!! i think id cry. i would also DEFINITELY cry if i met chopin.....id probably scare both of them

What is your favourite possession that refers to your favourite historical figure (e.g. statue, book etc.)?

i have a lovely stamp with nelson and hms victory on it!!! it’s wonderful, it’s probably my favourite stamp in my collection. & of course i have a model of victory itself, which is definitely Nelson Related!! i also have a little doll thing of henry vi which i commissioned a couple of years ago & a framed picture of him on my desk. alas i dont have much chopin stuff yet because i only recently got into him but i do have a biography of him with a lovely picture on the front (which i may or may not have got specifically for the picture. im confessing nothing)
