okay, so this different to what I normally write. and I'm not sure where it came from, but it's been on my mind for like a week, so here it is 😂
do I like it? kinda. Just the idea of soft domestic Sousa makes me happy okay.

Maybe it was something drilled into him in the army, or from his years running around catching criminals with Peggy Carter, but everyone on the SHIELD team was in awe of Daniel Sousa’s uncanny ability to fall asleep in the strangest places. After a long day, or in the weird quiet moments of a high priority mission, if he couldn’t be of any more help (and he always checked, with everybody on the mission) and there was nothing to do in the moment but sit and wait, he would find someplace out of the way to take a nap. This left the rest of the team to stumble across him occasionally, not knowing how to act around a sleeping agent they’d found in a little used corridor or ledge somewhere on the base. Along with this, he had the talent of being able to wake up almost 100% coherent straight away, ready to jump into action from the moment his eyes snapped open.
