i really had no idea what i needed, until you showed up with all of it.
Daisy: I need to be honest with you.
Sousa: Do I need to be worried...?
Daisy: No, I don't think so. It's just that I don't really know how to be in a relationship. Like, going on dates and all that stuff? Not exactly my specialty. But I'm guessing that's what you'd expect out of a relationship, and you should have that if that's what you want.
Sousa: Okay. Well, it is what I want. But I want that with you. So if you're willing to figure it out, then I'm willing to figure it out with you. Besides, I don't exactly know what 21st-century relationships are like, so you're not the only one with learning to do.
Daisy: Fair. I don't think you want to know what 21st-century relationships are like, though, so let's just figure out what works for us.
Sousa: Perfect. *smiles softly*
Daisy: *smiles back*

Sousa: How about I cook you dinner tonight?
Daisy: You really want to cook? We can just go out somewhere.
Sousa: I don't mind. I can cook. Besides, I have to cook in a modern kitchen at some point. It doesn't seem that different from the '50s.
Daisy: If you say so. But just know that I can't really cook, so I can't be of much help.
Sousa: That's fine. You helping defeats the purpose of me cooking you dinner. I will say, though, it is interesting to find something that you'll actually just let me do for you and not try to handle yourself.
Daisy: Well, we both prefer our food to be edible, so have at it, Danny Boy.
dousy things that are impossible to get over (52/?)
the way daisy and sousa, after their first kiss, barely pull away from each other only to go back in for another kiss
