1 - the meaning behind my url
Several years ago, I was a member of a twitter-based roleplaying group which was essentially just Second Life on twitter. I know, it's weird when I look back at it, but a lot of the stuff I did in those days was weird. Anyway, my character in that was an arcane scientist called Quantum Jump. After a while, the name migrated to my other interactions online, and it sort of stuck, even after I stopped roleplaying with that group.
The 'B' comes from when I made my steam account. My chosen steam username was taken, so instead of adding numbers to the name, I gave my character a middle name - the very pretentious-sounding Bartimaeus.
9 - tattoos I want
I'm honestly not sure I'm ever going to get tattoos, I'm too much of a wuss so I don't want to go through the pain. And even if I was brave enough to get them, my tastes change so rapidly that I'm pretty sure I'd end up hating anything I got.
However, I might decide to get some at some point - who knows?
18 - phobia
I'm not sure I have anything that could be called an actual phobia - most of the things I'm scared of are for rational reasons; bees because I'm allergic, for instance.
The thing I'm most scared of though, is losing my friends. That I can say with absolute certainty. I'm super insecure when it comes to friendship, and I've always got a voice going round the back of my head saying "they don't really like you, they're just putting up with you until you leave them alone".
