i am convinced news websites are designed the way they are so they can just drive you to buy the print edition

I really don’t understand the need for a slide-show format when magazine website wanna tell us their “top [blank] things of [blank]” or “the best [genre thing] you’ve never seen”.

Is there something wrong with one long article, because I figure you lose more readers by dicing your article up into small pieces.
