yall just ride the high— we ignore stories of the love being unrequited bc what can jensen even say?? like ? its not like while cas confessed dean did anything to say i love you back (besides don’t do this, but thats got subtext) like ofc it was open to interpretation....and if he says he thinks dean loves cas back....that spoils the finale!! (if thats where we are headed so like consider...what’s left to resolve???) plus misha has said very similar things, so it’s just the line they are toeing for now...maybe im a clown, but i dont think theyd want to spoil us so close in the home stretch

One thing I will say, because part of me is screaming about Chuck’s utterly amazing line about Cas, but the other is thinking this.... 

This episode is the perfect example of the dichotomy of being a Cas fan and a SPN fan. As an SPN fan, this was amazing. HippyDippy Adam and his Angel lover! The broment between Sam and Dean! Jack and his infinite desire to please his family! Amara and everything that is completely mindbogglingly awesome about her! Chuck’s mustache twirling villainy! The disaster duo, teaming up to cause chaos!  I love it!

But part of me thinks, aside the amazing line Chuck had about Cas... why was he even there? He sort of serves as an expository tool. I think one line in the talking down of Dean would have helped me see him as anything other than set dressing in this ep, but he was just... there? One line in that hallway or I would have liked the Empty to mention the deal. Just ONE more little Cas nugget would have taken this into the edge. That is my only negative. I do have hope for next week, especially with the knowledge that this is sort of a two part-er.

You know, I don’t mind Caleb getting introspective, but I do want him to start actually warming up to the party some more... he admitted that he felt sentimental about the three disappearing, and yet he still is considering leaving?

on an ooc note, i feel like i should point out that its a pretty freakin slippery slope to go down, trying to come up with pithy nicknames for everybody. a lot of these ones that got dropped in my inbox are centered around what could be perceived as a negative quality of the person, or seem like they’re criticizing some part of that person. that kind of makes the other ones, like, idk, referring to the latino man as a ‘mascot’ kind of circumspect. like...its all in good fun and stiles responds as stiles responds but lc would like you to know they arent necessarily endorsing these things.

why your first instincts are to dehumanize the latino lead and criminalize the black supporting actor and slut-shame the female supporting actor, but to defang and woobify the white villain of multiple seasons.

i aint mad and im not saying to not drop things in my inbox bc i love anons and crazy shit, but even anons’ words have power and when some of my followers come to me with concerns i am beholden to try and take care of them.
