oh my god that last chapter. The way I genuinely felt dread when the numbers went from 20 to 28 to 100 I could almost feel the falling the way you described it to the characters like my chest fucking dropped
It's literally just numbers but holy shit the way you wrote the build up and the atmosphere, that's the most invested I've been in a tense scene in ages like genuinely that's just a piece of phenomenal writing within an already amazing fic
YOU'VE MADE ME EMOTIONALLY INVESTED IN MATPAT IN THE SUBPLOT OF A SLIMECICLE SUPERHERO AU SHROOM WHAT IS HAPPENING
also the emotional whiplash of reading the April fools chapter after that, had me kicking my feet whilst also wanting to cry a little bit
It's also just super awesome to see how ur writing improves over the course of a single story I'M RAMBLING BUT I JUST THINK IT'S COOL OK U MADE A COOL FIC AND I REALLY LIKE IT AAH
