KLIPS @ the Ghostbusters Slime Night Run 2016
Who ya gonna call when you’re in the middle of a run and encounter zombies? Ghostbusters..? Nopes! Just keep running!
That’s exactly what went down last Saturday, 9th July 2016 during the Ghostbusters Slime Night Run 2016. Thanks to the lovely peeps at Sony Pictures for extending the invites, a couple of us got geared up for the race of our lives! ;p
We arrived at the event venue, Sunway Lagoon (Piazza Area) a little after 7pm and was greeted by the infamous Ghostbusters inflatable Marshmallow Man. The race started around 8pm, after an hour of mingling around with ‘only’ 1800 runners, getting our Ghostbusters tattoos, taking photographs with the cosplayers (see pic below) and a warm up session.
Participants of all ages, were in for a treat as within the 5km stretch, there were several stations. Needless to say, we ended the night race with a good soak in the slime pool (check out the pic below) just before the finishing line.
